Pros
After comparing a number of annotation platforms, this really stood out because it supports PDF annotation in a way that others didn't. There's no need for preprocessing and the built-in OCR integration means the whole workflow can be handled directly on their site. The collaboration features are excellent especially when working with multiple annotators on the same project and the validation process is very well organized. They also bring AI into many parts of the workflow which lets us build a full pipeline within the platform, even testing annotations on real-world models. The site is user-friendly, simple to use and overall creates a very positive experience. Another thing we value is how willing the UBI team is to listen to our requests and turn our suggestions into actual product improvements.
Cons
It is a paid product but the level of service makes it worth the cost.
