Awesome value for the price

Pros

I've been using Autovitals for the past few months, and I have to say, I'm really impressed. It's not just affordable but it also makes everything run a lot smoother. The pricing is competitive and the value I get from it is unbeatable. As a small business owner, keeping costs down is always a priority and Autovitals has helped me do just that by automating tasks and giving me useful insights into my business. It's saved me both time and money. If you're running a repair shop and need something budget-friendly, I totally recommend giving it a try.

Cons

Getting the hang of it has been a little tough for my team. Some of my employees take longer than I expected to learn all the features Autovitals offers.

Consistently delivers what it promises

Pros

I have found that using AutoVitals' digital inspection platform gives me a super clear picture of the health of my customers' vehicles. It's definitely made tracking repairs and issues a lot easier.

Cons

The system has been a bit challenging for my employees. I've found that rewarding them based on the quality and quantity of inspections they do each week helps keep them motivated.

Helps easily explain repairs to clients

Pros

One of the best things I love is the ability to stay in touch with customers throughout the whole repair process. It's great for keeping them updated every step of the way.

Cons

It would be great if I could write repair orders directly in Autovitals instead of using an outside system like Napa Tracs. It'd also be helpful if it allowed me to manage parts inventory within the same platform.

Leading digital inspection tool

Pros

I can take pictures or videos and send them directly to my customers. It's awesome because my inspections can be as detailed or as simple as I need them to be.

Cons

I have to make notes in Autovitals and then update them in our POS system, which feels like a bit of a hassle.

Improves both customer satisfaction

Pros

The integration with Protractor is smooth! I can easily edit inspections and inspection sheets, plus the reports are fantastic. Everything flows so smoothly.

Cons

There hasn't been much focus on new features or updates over the past few years. Sometimes it feels a bit stale and outdated.

Excellent resource

Pros

It's such a great tool to show customers exactly where their vehicle stands. I can easily keep them informed, which builds trust and keeps them in the loop.

Cons

Honestly, there's not much I dislike about it. It does a great job overall and I've had solid interactions with support team, which has been really helpful.

Efficient, reliable tool!

Pros

It is super easy to use and it has tons of features and benefits. It's a great way to keep track of vehicles and technicians in the shop, plus it helps me stay in touch with customers. Definitely makes managing everything a lot simpler.

Cons

It's not fully integrated with ROWriter and that's created some issues for me. It can't read or write directly to the database, which makes tracking technician time a little tricky (Autovitals and ROWriter never quite match up). Plus, the extra load of backing up 10 databases every 30 seconds just to extract data slows things down.

Meets all of our needs

Pros

The shop flow feature is a lifesaver. It's so easy to see what's happening in the shop and when. It keeps everything organized and helps me stay on top of things.

Cons

It can be a bit overwhelming to learn at first. I also wish it would automatically clock techs in as soon as they open a job ticket.

Simple to operate

Pros

The system is pretty smooth and simple to use. Even the techs love it, which says a lot. It's easy for everyone to get the hang of.

Cons

Perfect for small shop efficiency

Pros

Sharing the actual inspections with my customers has been such a game changer. It lets me show them exactly what's happening with their vehicle and they seem to really appreciate it. It definitely helps them feel more involved in the whole process.

Cons

Sometimes, technical issues with the tablets slow things down, which definitely affects productivity.

Boost sales

Pros

I really like how I can upload photos from the inspections right from the garage to the front desk sales team. It makes communication between the front desk and the customer seamless and keeps everything running smoothly.

Cons

When there's an outage or update, it takes a lot of effort to get everything back to normal and running smoothly again.
