Pros
Getting started with this software has been pretty simple and it connects well with smart devices and iPads through the 60Hertz app. It's also helpful that different people within the same organization can be assigned specific tasks or jobs which makes team coordination much better.
Cons
There have been a couple of issues when trying to integrate the 60Hertz Controller with the Ferntech Controller.

Pros
Moving toward a paperless workflow has been a real benefit and having data stored in the cloud makes historical analysis much more practical.
Cons
Cloud connectivity has also been a nice addition especially for reviewing data remotely.

Pros
Having it available as an app is a big plus and at least in theory, I'm able to create the lists I need.
Cons
The administrative side is much harder to work with than it should be. Setting up organizing and breaking checklists down into components and sub-components is overly complicated. I've been trying to build a "walk-around" checklist but I still can't figure out how to arrange it in the right order and tech support hasn't been helpful.

Pros
Keeping all of my sites organized in one system and assigning maintenance tasks to each of them has been incredibly useful from an operations standpoint. I'm especially interested in diving deeper into the "job" creation feature since it looks like it could help us structure our full workflow even better. Having site data and photos stored together is another big advantage. It's really helpful to have everything centralized and available to both the admin team and technicians out in the field. The multilingual capability is also a strong benefit especially when working across different countries and teams.
Cons
Form editing and customizing the layout to look the way I want can be fairly complicated. Moving toward a more what-you-see-is-what-you-get approach for building forms would make the setup process much simpler and would also help with onboarding new users.

“Tablet checks keep crews engaged”
Pros
Right away, this product got new employees involved especially younger team members who are already comfortable working on tablets. It guides my operators through a required step-by-step process for plant checks making sure they review the necessary items and even capture photos so I can confirm the inspections are actually being completed the way they should be. It's also very useful for looking back at past checks whenever questions come up about a specific item at the plant.
Cons
We run both a hydro plant and a diesel power plant and at the moment only the hydro plant is set up on the tablet. I know 60Hertz is in the process of bringing both operations onto one tablet and I'm really looking forward to when that updated software is released.
