helpful staff !!!!

Pros

Getting started with 86 Repairs has been simple and every time I call, the staff is friendly and willing to help.

Cons

One frustrating part is how long it can take for maintenance to actually come out and handle issues. Some tickets remain open for weeks without any update on whether someone is scheduled to fix them. After a request gets passed along to our repair team, I usually have to call Julio myself just to find out if someone is coming and when.

Work orders save us time

Pros

Creating a work order is really simple and I don't have to spend time calling a bunch of different companies anymore. The system is simple to use, genuinely helpful and saves me a lot of time and energy that I can put back into running the bar.

Cons

I really haven't run into any downsides. This software has made my job and the jobs of the other managers, much more manageable.

Pros

From handling multiple clients to adjusting their workflow around specific business needs, 86 Repairs has been really effective. They have a solid process in place and do a strong job adapting to changes as those needs evolve.

Cons

Earlier on there wasn't a very clear way to view itemized costs and pinpoint where the most common issues were happening. That said 86 Repairs responded to our feedback and updated things for us so that visibility is now available.

Work orders made painless

Pros

Right away, 86 Repairs stood out because their team and workflow make submitting work orders and sending back diagnosis and repair updates for data tracking incredibly simple. Before this, we were using.. or more accurately, being required to use.. a competing nationally branded platform for receiving work orders, building proposals and reporting back to the client. That system was so buggy and time-consuming that we actually told the client we would stop servicing their equipment because of it.

Cons

There really isn't anything to complain about with the software or processes. It fits in well with the way we work and makes a tough job a lot more manageable.

all-in-one maintenance lifesaver

Pros

It's been a one-stop solution for all of our maintenance needs and the platform is simple to use and navigate.

Cons

One thing we have to stay on top of is checking whether something is still under warranty before submitting it. It can also be tricky at times to get the right vendor onsite, depending on the type of issue.

Time-saving texting feature

Pros

The texting feature has been a big help for our restaurant. Things move fast all day and being able to text saves us time while we keep the stores running.

Cons

Good maintenance support

Pros

Working with 86 felt like a very smooth handoff from the start. Their team has a lot of maintenance experience across the board so no matter what type of issue comes up, there is always someone able to help. They consistently look out for their partners, help troubleshoot problems quickly and give useful feedback on recommendations from our maintenance vendors. They also helped us put routine preventive maintenance in place for our equipment which has been valuable in avoiding bigger issues later on. On top of that, they are available 24/7 and have stepped in during several after-hours maintenance emergencies that I would have struggled to handle without their support.

Cons

One issue has been inconsistent invoice handling. That may be more related to the maintenance providers than to 86 itself but from what I have seen, vendors often send invoices straight to 86 since they are usually the point of contact. I have also run into a few isolated situations where vendors were not clear that 86 was partnering with us. We have always been able to sort out the misunderstanding but before that gets clarified, they sometimes ask for payment up front because they assume 86 is the actual customer and that delayed invoice billing is not an option.
