Smooth inventory tracking

Pros

Right away, the software felt pretty simple and helped us organize our parts inventory so we could instantly pull up the specs we needed for tracking and ordering the correct components.

Cons

A few sections of the help content could use a bit more detail and explanation.

Pros

You can keep it as simple as you need or make it more complex when the situation calls for it.

Cons

logical setup and excellent support

Pros

Getting started with AMPRO felt very simple thanks to its logical setup and the customer service has been wonderful throughout.

Cons

Powerful reporting and outstanding support

Pros

AMPRO helps you get a lot done without being stuck at a computer for hours. The way everything connects inside the system feels simple which makes reporting much more detailed and useful. As more data gets added over time, it turns into a really complete platform that understands the finer details of how your business operates. The support team has also been exceptional throughout my time using it.

Cons

Bringing new users on board can feel a bit overwhelming at first. Some tasks are slightly confusing the first time around, like adding a new reading type to assets. Once you've gone through it a couple of times though, it starts to make sense and becomes much more simple.

Clear data entry experience

Pros

Getting around the system is fairly simple, the layout is clear and entering data is simple.

Cons

Printing reports could be better especially the way you have to format a search before you can print it.

excellent support and reporting

Pros

Creating assets, subsets, contractors and work orders is very simple in AMPRO. The support has been excellent and the reporting modules have been really strong as well.

Cons

There's not a lot to complain about, aside from the iPad and tablet capabilities. Adding email addresses to contacts for work order distribution could also be better although I haven't tested Notifier yet.

Reliable across multiple sites

Pros

Reliable and solid software that performs well across our Citrix network, even with multiple users working from different sites.

Cons

The interface is hard to navigate and it includes far more functionality than we currently use or fully understand. More training would definitely help.

adapts well to our needs

Pros

Over the years, AMPRO has evolved alongside our business and continues to fit what we need from it. We depend heavily on the features built into the software and it's been encouraging to see future-focused capabilities being added as well. The product keeps improving in ways that make it more useful for us going forward.

Cons

One area that still frustrates us is Crystal Reports. If I want to add a column to a report, I'd really prefer to be able to handle that myself instead of needing to contact customer support every time. The same goes for scripts.. it would be very helpful to understand how they work so we could manage simple scripting on our own without having to rely on support so often.

Well-synced asset tracking

Pros

Everything feels well synchronized which makes cross-referencing data much easier. The format is simple and the asset listing uses a simple tree structure that lets us capture solid detail without getting confusing.

Cons

Something that bothers me is the lack of a simple way to archive records. It would help a lot to clear out old entries when we need a cleaner sheet to add more accurate information because outdated records tend to clutter things up. I'd also prefer a simpler way to drag assets from one location to another.

Pros

Using AMPRO has been very simple because the software is user-friendly and simple to navigate. It also lets you keep multiple screens open at once which makes working more efficient. Another big plus is being able to add extra fields to each asset type so it's possible to capture more detailed information for every asset. On top of that, customer support responds quickly, whether by email or phone.

Cons

I don't have any cons to mention.

Useful job history and solid basics

Pros

Starting this tool is pretty simple and the core features work really well for day-to-day use. The job history linked to assets and contractors is especially useful and makes it much easier to track past work.

Cons

The reporting module feels limited because you can't edit existing reports or build your own. Another frustration is that email addresses stored in contacts aren't pulled through when sending out work orders. It would also be helpful if there were a built-in notification system for things like incoming job requests.

Pros

Getting around the system is fairly simple and having support for multiple users is a real plus. It's also helpful that documents can be uploaded and working across multiple pages makes things more practical. The search customization is another feature I appreciate because it helps narrow things down the way I need.

Cons

One downside is that it doesn't connect with an iPad or mobile devices which feels limiting. It's also not very simple to remove items after they've been added to the database. On top of that, having an option to send email reminders for important tasks would make it much more useful.

good CMMS with top support

Pros

Right from the start, AMPRO covered everything I'd expect from a CMMS. The standout part for me is the clean interface which is simple and very simple to work with. It turned out to be the ideal system for introducing CMMS to a team that wasn't especially comfortable with computers and had never used this kind of software before. On top of that, the support has been absolutely 5-star.

Cons

I don't have any major complaints. It's the best CMMS I've used so far and this is the fourth one in my career. If I could ask for one improvement, it would be the ability to group-select and bulk-schedule several jobs at once in a single action.

Pros

Using Ampro has been simple because the system is simple to navigate and laid out in a clear organized way. Whenever help is needed, the support team is available and reliable.

Cons

Repeated error messages that keep appearing are annoying. The reports section also feels a bit limited and restrictive.
