Pros
One of the best parts of AvPro is the price especially for what it offers. The customer support has also been very helpful whenever needed and the software is simple to use without much of a learning curve.
Cons
There have been a few small glitches here and there but they are already being addressed and resolved.

“Simple tracking, too many glitches”
Pros
Tracking things with this software has been really convenient and I've enjoyed how simple it is to use. The adjustable options also make it simple to tailor things as needed.
Cons
There are still way too many glitches though. Certain items can't be deleted and duplicate entries keep showing up which gets really frustrating.

Pros
As a small solutions-focused aviation parts manufacturer, Vogt Aero needed something that would still make sense as we expand into other parts of the aviation business over the next five years and AvPro has been a solid fit for that long-term plan. It gives us room to add more as we grow which was a big reason it stood out. I've genuinely enjoyed using the software and getting familiar with how it works. Up to this point, it has helped us organize our RFQ, work order, PO and invoicing processes and it's clear the platform can do a lot more even though we haven't reached that stage yet. The customer support has also been outstanding. The customer service executive and his team have truly gone above and beyond for us and that kind of support is incredibly valuable.
Cons
I really wish it had an instruction manual because the software can do so much and I know I'm only using a small portion of its full capability. A lot of the time I've had to figure things out on my own. That said whenever we need help, guidance or answers to questions, the customer service executive and his team have been very responsive and consistently helpful.

Updating and editing are simple and anytime I ran into a problem, the support team took the time to guide me through everything step by step.
Cons
The report output still needs some work but the support team stays on top of it and makes changes quickly to get it where it needs to be.

Pros
One thing that has worked really well with AvPro is how it can be deployed from our data center through Citrix which gives us real-time, 24/7 access across the business. Since our industry is pretty niche, the system was also simple to customize and it required little to no extra cost. It handles the strict requirements we deal with too, including calibrated tooling, serialized part numbers and detailed financial reporting. Training has been simple to arrange, support is easy to reach directly and the software has been dependable overall. Another plus is that fixes and upgrades can be added without much trouble through updates.
Cons
Interface does look a bit dated visually although that really has not affected how well the software performs. Because AvPro is not a widely known brand, our customers often need a bit more information and education about it. Even with those points, the benefits have clearly outweighed the drawbacks for us especially with the time and cost savings it has provided.

“Task cards and work orders shine”
Pros
Task cards, work orders and purchase orders are the standout features for me. Creating both routine and non-routine task cards is very simple and the process is simple to follow.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see improved is the color coding in the on-screen narrative. For example, it would help if red appeared for conflicts, errors or items that haven't been properly closed, while black could remain for everything that is okay or already closed.
