A big win for us has been bringing parts of our OH&S system into day-to-day operations through the platform and that has been fantastic.
Cons
The scheduling still needs a few adjustments to better match the way our business runs but overall it works fine.

Pros
From the start, the simple job scheduling, clear job tracking and ability to connect multiple accounting program accounts were a big reason we picked FieldInsight over other options on the market. The training is thorough and comprehensive and the chat support has been really helpful whenever troubleshooting comes up.
Cons
The inventory tracking for products is quite basic at the moment and definitely has room for improvement.

It can be tailored to fit our industry really well which has been a big advantage for us.
Cons
Because the system covers so many parts of the business and allows for so much customization, getting everything implemented was a little complicated. It was also disappointing that the Xero integration doesn't support two-way payment syncing.

Pros
Asset management and preventive maintenance have been a huge plus with FieldInsight. It makes managing our contracts and assets very simple and we always know exactly where things stand and what still needs to be completed.
Cons
Getting everything set up took a lot of time and effort at the beginning and it did feel like a big job. That said the team was consistently there to support us and now that everything is in place, I can clearly see why the extra time was necessary to get it configured properly.

Pros
Their customer support and training have been outstanding. They're incredibly helpful when it comes to getting everything set up and they do a really good job training you and your team so you can start using it without any trouble.
Cons
The biggest downside is the mobile experience since they don't offer a true mobile app. It works more like a browser-based app and the text feels too small. Another smaller issue is the theme color on both the desktop version and the mobile version.. it's purple and there's no option to change it.

“Faster invoicing and excellent support”
Pros
Being able to finish service reports and send invoices right when the job is done has made a huge difference for us, instead of waiting until we're back at the office to enter everything later. It means we're getting paid sooner and spending far less valuable time on admin. The technical support we received during the setup was fantastic the whole way through and the software has integrated very well with our MYOB accounting system.
Cons
Getting everything set up in the beginning did take a fair amount of time before we were ready to go live and actually start using it. There was also a bit of a learning curve at first while we got familiar with how the software worked but once that clicked and the MYOB integration was in place, it all became very simple.

I've seen this company grow over time and one thing that stands out is how consistently they keep improving the software. They're always making updates, sharing what's coming next and keeping users informed about new launches. Their team also responds fast which really matters and they don't leave you waiting around like a lot of other software companies do.
Cons
I honestly can't point to any real dislikes. At the end of the day, you just have to spend some time using the software since most tools in this space are similar overall, even if the layout feels quite different.

Pros
The layout is simple and customizable which makes the software pleasant to work with. Their team is friendly and actually follows up when you have a question instead of leaving you stuck. Pricing is reasonable and it doesn't strain the budget. I also appreciate that they keep up with new technology and are constantly improving the product.
Cons
One minor downside is that they're based in another country so the time difference can make response timing a little off. That said it's not a deal breaker since they do have a chat bubble available.
