“Reliable calibration tracking”
Pros
Getting this up and running was simple and using it day to day has been simple. We can quickly locate our equipment and make sure everything stays in calibration. The reporting is also really helpful especially when audit time comes around.
Cons
There was a setup-related glitch early on and every now and then the system won't let me log in because it says we're over the user limit. I believe that probably came from a mistake during our initial setup.

Pros
The Gage Master List has a decent layout but it doesn't allow the level of customization that's needed. The customization options are very limited which is disappointing. I've used other gage software before that made this one look weak and they weren't much more expensive either.
Cons
When changes need to be made there just isn't enough admin control to handle them. Support was not very patient with new users and overall the software does not match what was advertised for the most part.

After comparing options, Gage Control Software stood out for giving us the visibility, record retention and alerts we needed. It has become a valuable part of our quality management system by delivering the insight and performance metrics required to support ISO and AS9100C standards. As we get ready to transition to AS9100D, it's reassuring to know the software is already compliant. The system is simple to work with and whenever help is needed, the support team responds quickly and professionally. They may be a small team but they are incredibly capable. Highly recommended.
