Pros

Right away, this software proves useful for measuring and calibrating products. It helps maintain product quality and makes audits much easier to handle. The system can store a large amount of records and data and everything stays well organized. Once data is entered, it remains unchanged unless a user updates it manually. The automatic numbering feature also saves time.

Cons

Overall the software is well structured but it does have a few drawbacks. It would be helpful to have references or shortcuts for saving specific gauges or measurements so they can be accessed faster. There is also no way to extend calibration values without entering new measurements or values. Deleting items from the drop-down line is difficult and there is no option to list gauges or measurements under different categories.

Pros

Keeping up with a large number of gages is much more manageable with this program and it stores plenty of detailed information so it is always right at hand. The search function is very versatile, letting you look things up using almost any criteria and the custom reporting options are a big plus since you can build and adjust reports however you want. That level of flexibility makes it very practical for tracking all of your gages.

Cons

A few settings only allow blanket changes across everything which can be frustrating. It would be much better if certain updates could be made to one individual record instead of automatically applying them to every single one.

Pros

Right from the start, the software has been simple to work with and offers a lot of capability for managing records and data, along with some customization options. It's reliable, simple and the technical support has been solid whenever needed. It was also a big help during our audits.

Cons

One major downside is that you really need training to use it properly. Changing labels is difficult since it has to be handled by GAGEtrak. There's also no automatic switch from "out for cal" back to "active," and using that function means creating a vendor list which is a big hassle. On the smaller side, unused fields can't be removed and adding notes in the comment section is not very user friendly.

Pros

Keeping up with calibration schedules is very simple and it's also simple to see where each gage is on the shop floor along with its full history.

Cons

The setup can be a little finicky at first but once that part is done, it works really well.
