“Easy once learned”
Pros
After spending a little time learning the process, the system becomes simple to navigate and use when handling specific tasks.
Cons
The part I liked least about HxGN EAM was that it does require some extra learning at the beginning.

“flexible oracle backbone”
Pros
The Oracle backbone gives the platform a solid foundation and it has the potential to be very flexible depending on how it's set up.
Cons
The customization development team has been slow to respond and not very knowledgeable which makes changes harder than they should be.

“strong asset management features”
Pros
HxGN EAM does a solid job of helping us maintain assets properly and handle financial depreciation for fixed asset management. The screen designer is also useful because it helps identify the related tables quickly. Another thing that works well is the ability to grant access to users based on specific user groups.
Cons
Getting started can be a bit difficult since the process and functionality are not very clear for new users. Once the workflow is understood though, the system becomes much more helpful and user-friendly.

“Reliable asset management powerhouse”
Pros
When it comes to dependable ERP platforms, Infor EAM definitely deserves a place on the shortlist. It offers strong enterprise asset management capabilities, backed by solid reporting and a user-friendly layout that helps meet customer needs consistently at any time.
Cons
The interface feels a bit dull and the dashboard options are fairly limited. The overall theme could also use some improvement.

“powerful features, complex setup”
Pros
Infor EAM comes with a wide range of features and gives you plenty of reporting options.
Cons
Using the system is not very simple, it is costly and the setup and customization can get quite complicated. In most cases, you will probably need professional consultants involved throughout the entire lifecycle of the system.

“Painfully difficult purchasing”
Pros
There really aren't any positives I can point to.
Cons
This is by far the most difficult purchasing software I've ever had to use. It's honestly mind-boggling especially considering I've worked with plenty of other systems before.

“clean setup and solid asset tracking”
Pros
Getting this product installed and configured is pretty simple so it's usable right out of the box. The interface looks polished and the menu layout makes sense. Admins can adjust the system without needing to write code or scripts which is a big plus. It handles asset management, inventory, purchasing, preventive maintenance scheduling and work order history really well.
Cons
The upload and import process does take some time to learn and get comfortable with.

“too complicated for daily work”
Pros
The platform came with an impressive range of features and the reporting capabilities were excellent. It also handled parts inventory across multiple locations really well. Accessing the website was reliable and quick and the support team was responsive whenever help was needed.
Cons
Compared with MP2 getting everything set up was much more complicated than it should have been. Most individual users had no idea how to manage work orders and it ended up creating another paper-based process with one person stuck trying to keep track of all the WO's. Setting up BINs and even figuring out which BIN to use, was confusing for most users, myself included.

“Feels outdated”
Pros
One thing I can say about this software is that it's dependable. Once you understand how it works, it becomes fairly simple to use.
Cons
Getting started with it is really tough for new users. I usually pick up most software pretty quickly and understand how it works without much trouble but this one felt outdated and definitely seems like it needs some changes or improvement.

“powerful asset management toolkit”
Pros
There's a lot built into HxGN EAM especially when it comes to asset management and inventory control. It offers plenty of features and solid structure which makes it very capable for handling complex operations.
Cons

“User-friendly and quick to learn”
Pros
The system is very user friendly and our team did not need much time at all to get trained and start using it effectively.
Cons
I really do not have any complaints about the product itself. The only challenge has been finding available techs when we need reports set up or when something comes up. As for the software, I have not run into any actual issues.. it is more about how we are using it than the product itself.

“stylish interface with flexible customization”
Pros
Right away, Infor's EAM stands out as a very user-friendly system. The front end looks modern and polished and it's simple enough that most people can learn it quickly. Their support team is also very knowledgeable and does a good job of resolving issues when they come up. Another big advantage is how much customization the product allows. Being able to tailor different parts of the system to fit user needs is really valuable. Features like custom grids and inboxes make it much easier for users to focus on the information that matters to them without getting distracted by unrelated items.
Cons
Even though the system is user-friendly, a lot of important pieces are left up to user customization which means you need a fairly large back-end support team to manage it all. The grids are very powerful but they also take a strong skill set to fully understand and use well. Individual screens are fairly easy to navigate but cross-referencing things like work order information with parts can be frustrating. In those cases, you may end up writing down the work order, switching to the WO screens and searching again to find what you need. Custom hyperlinks can help with this but setting those up also depends on having more back-end support available.

“Flexible fit for regulated work”
Pros
One of the best parts of Infor EAM is its flexibility. It gives our business units a solid foundation to handle their daily responsibilities, while still letting us tailor the application around our operational needs. Instead of forcing us to change our business processes to match the software, the system can be configured to support the way we already work. That design and configuration flexibility has been especially valuable in our heavily regulated environment, where we need to enforce business rules and make sure the system behaves exactly as expected.
Cons
I do not have any real complaints.
