“Great tool”

From my experience, it's a very complete piece of software, with lots of options for checking information, keeping control and tracking the different processes involved in fleet and asset management.

Cons

Downside is that it doesn't include a commercial or financial ERP so it has to be connected with other software and that ends up causing a lot of interface errors.

A major benefit I notice is how it organizes the entire maintenance plan in a very simple way. It also lets me generate different reports with a variety of characteristics depending on what I need at the time.

Unfortunately, it is not a program that adapts well to smaller operations. When the maintenance department is small, too many approvals are required to carry out different tasks and that makes execution feel very tough.

In real use, it has helped us organize how we capture the information and data needed for failure analysis and a zero-loss approach. I also find it flexible enough to adapt to the methodological structures used in maintenance management, supports the deployment of RCM and TPM models and connects well with other technology tools that support production.

Cons

Even though much of the information is designed to be used through parameterized lists, there is still room for improvement in simplifying manual data entry for shop floor technicians. Report design integration could also be better, with stronger graphic options, more interactive features and more flexible parameterization choices.

From a reliability standpoint, it's a really great software and an excellent option for maintenance management. The support team is also very good which is probably what I appreciate the most.

Cons

The only thing I'd point out is the graphic interface. Hopefully that will be improved in a newer version.

If I look at it practically, if a company doesn't have any maintenance management software in place, this can still be a decent option. It helps with day-to-day maintenance tasks and gives some support for organizing the daily workflow.

Software feels very basic overall. Reports are limited to tables and the indicators should be more management-focused. Handling corrective work orders is also quite confusing, with too many steps and it really needs to be simplified to make interaction easier.

The downside is that the company has had to adjust some of its procedures to fit the software's functionality and at times that has created bottlenecks in how it's used.

From a practical standpoint, this software lets me store and download information about the day-to-day maintenance management process, from planning and scheduling to supervision and execution for every plant asset. That makes it much easier for me to keep tighter control over activities, time, spare parts costs and labor expenses. It also includes continuous improvement tools such as the RCM module which helps me evaluate equipment against failure modes so more effective maintenance plans and more relevant asset activities can be defined. The asset taxonomy is displayed in a clear, organized way that aligns with standards like ISO 14224. Another helpful point for me is the wide range of equipment search options available across the different modules whenever something needs to be located quickly. It also allows us to create, view and update maintenance plans for the short, medium and long term. On top of that, I've noticed that people from other company areas who do not use the system very often can still interact with it and learn it quickly because of the clear interface and user-friendly commands.

Cons

Managing a work order requires going through several fields and different modules just to change the OT status, update dates, close it and archive it. In some modules, the modification process does not fully match what the company needs. Integrating it with another information system, such as SAP BO, is also somewhat complex.
