Wouldn't suggest this to others

Pros

There is nothing special about it. It is just a basic database. Overall it does not offer much for analytics.

Cons

As I mentioned before, the reporting add-on is terrible as it barely works most of the time.

Helping extend asset life

Pros

We have been using Mainsaver for years to generate Work Orders and manage some assets. It does the job well for that.

Cons

It is not user-friendly at all and it's definitely not made for accounting. Moreover customization can only be done by their techs, so making changes on our own internally is really difficult.

A powerful tool for power plants

Pros

Mainsaver helps connect our preventive and corrective work to our assets while tracking lifetime costs. We use it to improve reliability.

Cons

Well it is not easy to use. The windows don't resize. Also the admin settings are complicated and hard to figure out.
