“Best scheduling solution, easy to implement
Pros
Quick and simple to deploy, making scheduling tasks possible in minutes instead of hours. Allows technicians' time to be balanced efficiently, creates technician patterns and provides customizable filters for better management.
Cons
There are some challenges in synchronizing Preventive Maintenance work orders especially when the CMMS forecasts tasks without generating a physical work order.

“Sockeye software is simple, and their team is fantastic
Pros
One of the standout features is its high level of customization. Work orders can be brought in through different methods to fit specific needs and users can adjust visibility settings to see only relevant work orders or teams, making scheduling much easier.
Cons
A few bugs still need to be resolved, with the biggest issue being work orders that involve multiple pieces of equipment and multiple users working on them.

“Scheduling is much easier now, thanks to Sockeye
Pros
The interface is quite simple and provides options to modify it according to user preference. Navigating the system and managing work orders is smooth and straightforward.
Cons
Data transfer from SAP to Sockeye is not always consistent. Some work orders have been missing from SAP and adding a feature to include notes or move work orders from previous weeks would streamline the process.

“Sockeye is a great tool, super easy to navigate
Pros
It is very easy to use. Sockeye makes file transfers seamless, allowing me to move multiple files at once which is incredibly convenient.
Cons
There are too many steps involved in performing certain tasks. Switching data over takes time, and diagnosing errors can be complicated. Adjusting line colors is a long process and having more control over simple changes without having to reload the entire schedule would be helpful.

“I rely on Sockeye to plan a week in advance
Pros
Work orders are easy to schedule and align with different shifts. Assigning tasks to specific days of the week is simple and efficient for us.
Cons
Transferring work orders from SAP to Sockeye doesn't always work correctly and some shifts are not assigned properly, making scheduling more difficult.

“Disappointed. Data disappears or auto-fills incorrectly
Pros
Scheduling is easy but sometimes work gets reassigned incorrectly, moving to other schedules or assigning to the wrong people. Re entering trades repeatedly is a hassle, as the system doesn't always seem to save them.
Cons
Work orders are sometimes assigned to people outside the selected date range. Re-entering data for different trades is frustrating, as the system does not always save them correctly.

“Easier to plan, but end users still have to use pronto
Pros
A fast and efficient tool for building schedules. The planning department saves significant time because of its functionality.
Cons
It does not integrate with Pronto, our main system. This means we have to open Sockeye to get the work order number, then switch to Pronto to retrieve full details.

“Super user-friendly
Pros
Integrates well with our timekeeping system, Worksight, allowing seamless transfer of employee hours and work order numbers.
Cons
The backlog doesn't display properly at the bottom of the screen and work orders are not separated by department, making it harder to manage.

“Wonderful product and experience, though it's expensive
Pros
The setup team is fantastic and always available to assist with changes or adjustments. My planner especially appreciates how easy the software is to use.
Cons
The pricing seems high for just a scheduling tool. It actually costs more than the entire EAM system we are currently using.

“Helps me keep track of the planned work for the week
Pros
Sockeye is excellent for job management, planning and scheduling. Clicking on a job number quickly pulls up details in Pronto, making searches much more efficient.
Cons
The software does not work properly in Google Chrome and has to be opened in Internet Explorer. Other than that, no major issues.
