“More suited for advisory committees than boards.

Pros

It had potential but the problem is that it's not connected to real boards.

Cons

There can be tons of people on these boards and the chats and inputs often come from people like interns. The quality of the people on the site just doesn't match what you would want on an advisory board.

“A fraudulent website

Pros

There's really nothing to like about it. They don't put you on a real board, it's just fake "online" boards with hundreds of other members. They are deceiving customers who, in turn, deceive others by listing "board member" on their LinkedIn and resumes.

Cons

This is a scam to take your money. I was charged for a "free trial" even though I canceled before it ended. Their free trial clearly says "14day free trial" but all their cancellation emails said I needed to cancel by 11/18. I canceled on that day but they still charged me and refuse to refund my money. It's nothing more than a scam to steal your cash.

Nothing at all. They spam you with emails and they have no real interest in actually resolving customer support issues.

Cons

I really wish I would read the reviews before signing up. I tried the free trial, canceled before it ended, and when the charge showed up, I contacted support right away. They claimed I never canceled and refused to issue a refund. It is so disappointing that a company with potential has lost my trust completely. I have got no interest in doing business with them again and would recommend anyone considering them to look elsewhere. They offered me a free month or upgrade but I declined. I know they could have issued a refund, they just didn't want to. Do right by the customer and it'll pay off in the long run.

Honestly there was nothing I liked. They made the whole process very cumbersome and didn't recommend any decent companies.

Cons

Billing policy is a complete scam. I canceled five days before my 30 day renewal date and they still billed me, claiming I needed to cancel 15 days before renewal. The FTC has banned these practices recently but when I asked for a refund, they flat out refused.

“A team of advisors is a luxury to have

Pros

It was exciting to see so many advisors interested in joining my board and offering their experience and insights specially as a startup. I also got two individual VCs interested in investing, which was great.

Cons

I do wish the advisors were available 24/7 but I get it, that's probably too much to ask. I was told internal communication is getting an update soon so I will hold off on my comments until then. If they follow through, it could really be a game changer.
