Wish it worked like excel in this case

Pros

I like that it's part of the whole Apple ecosystem so it blends right in with the macOS look and feel. It uses the best parts of the Mac interface which makes it super easy to get around. Also I've noticed it handles Excel imports pretty smoothly, definitely better than I expected.

Cons

What bugs me the most is how a lot of the useful features from Excel or Google Sheets like adding formulas or quickly formatting cells are just harder to find here. It kind of hides those options and it's not helpful when you're trying to work fast. It feels a bit buried and less interactive.

Does the job really well

Pros

I use this app literally every day. It helps me stay on top of my to-do lists, random ideas and all the plans I've got going on. Ever since I started working in admin, this tool has made a big difference in how I organize things.

Cons

Right now my only real complaint is that I have to export the file before I can email it. It's not a huge deal just a little annoying. Would be nicer if I could share it straight from the app.

Solid option

Pros

This thing is ridiculously easy to use. Honestly I think it's even easier than Excel in most cases. The layout is clean and simple, nothing confusing just straight to the point.

Cons

Honestly the biggest issue for me is how few people actually use it. It's tough to go all-in on a tool when hardly anyone else around you is using it. That kind of makes it hard to commit long term.

Overall good product

Pros

I've seen some solid improvements when it comes to tracking customer feedback and sales numbers. It feels like they've really been focusing on the right updates.

Cons

It's not the most cost-effective option out there. Other laptops and tools seem to give more bang for your buck.

Microsoft still does this better

Pros

It feels like a more polished version of Excel. It's very well-made and comes with a bunch of templates that actually help. I use it for all sorts of things, calculations, budgeting even some light data analysis. It's easy to use and syncing with my Apple ID across devices is super handy. Plus their support is always reliable.

Cons

It just doesn't stack up against Excel for me. The biggest downside is that it's only for Apple devices, so I can't use it everywhere. The interface looks simple but the app is meant for complex tasks which aren't that easy to do here. I find it harder to fit into my day-to-day and to be honest I don't end up using it much.

Makes everyday tasks way easier

Pros

Ever since I switched to a MacBook, It has been my go-to app for staying organized. The built-in templates are lifesavers especially for budgeting and tracking my investment stuff. I'm juggling an MBA and some freelance work, so keeping up with money in and out is a big deal. This app makes it so simple, it's like I've got a mini financial assistant in my laptop.

Cons

One issue I run into with Numbers is when I'm doing group work for my MBA. I love using it on my own but most of my teammates prefer Excel, so working together becomes problem. There's just too much back-and-forth trying to sync things. So, even though It is awesome for tracking stuff on my own, I usually switch back to Excel to keep things smooth with the team. It's like juggling two systems which isn't ideal when you're trying to stay efficient.

Good extra to have on my mac

Pros

What stands out to me the most is how clean and easy the interface is. Whether you're just starting out or you've used a bunch of spreadsheet tools before, It feels super user-friendly. It's easy to find what you're looking for and it just looks really polished.

Cons

Yeah, It lets you open and save Excel files but it's not always perfect especially when the Excel sheets have complex stuff going on. And if you're switching over from Excel or Sheets, you'll probably feel a learning curve at first.

Very smooth with small data tasks

Pros

I'm a big fan of how the charts look in this. They're super modern and have a clean design that really stands out from other spreadsheet apps. Definitely gives your data a more professional vibe.

Cons

I'm not a huge fan of the home screen. It feels like all the tools and functions are kinda scattered and not in one easy place. Maybe it's just me being new to it but I wish the layout was a bit more user-friendly.

Works fine for basic spreadsheet stuff

Pros

I like that it comes free with macOS and works well with Excel and CSV files. You don't need to do any extra setup, it just handles it automatically.

Cons

Some of Excel's built-in features are missing in It which is a bit of a pain. And sharing files isn't as simple either. So if I don't need all the heavy Excel stuff, I usually just go with Google Sheets instead.

Different from excel but good

Pros

It has pretty much all the same formulas and functions that Excel offers but where it really shines is in creating forms. The forms look great and are very useful for collecting data. Data validation works better and there are tons of preset options to make setup easy. The best part? You can lock the spreadsheet so people can only enter data through the form, it makes everything cleaner and more secure.

Cons

It's definitely not as strong as Excel especially with advanced stuff like Pivot Tables. I do like the form feature on mobile but on my Mac it feels way too stripped down. Also the spreadsheet doesn't have many shortcuts, so filling it out takes more effort than it should.
