“Not very focused on customer needs

Pros

Creating PowerPoint presentations is not a problem anymore as it makes the process quick and easy for us. Plus the use of AI is actually quite helpful.

Cons

It is hard to maintain consistency in branding so the PowerPoint presentations always end up looking different with varying themes and colors. Also I find the tool confusing when it comes to navigating and changing slides.

“Terrible customer service experience

Pros

There is not much that I like but yes it is pretty simple to put together a presentation with the AI tool.

Cons

The customization options are pretty limited and the support is practically nonexistent as whenever I need them they are nowhere to be found.

“Even though I canceled on time, I was still charged

I signed up for the free trial but did not like the slides so I unsubscribed. However I was still charged for the yearly subscription. I really cannot afford this and I'd appreciate a refund as soon as possible.

Cons

Even though I cancelled the free trial but my money was still deducted from my account. Highly disappointed!

One thing I would like to mention is that it is fairly easy to use.

I signed up for a premium trial of Beautiful.ai to explore its features and improve my presentations. After trying it out with one template on the first day I realized it was not right for me. Unfortunately I missed the cancellation deadline by just one day and even though I immediately reached out to support to cancel, I was still charged for a full month's subscription. When I asked for a refund, explaining my minimal use and prompt cancellation request I was told no refunds were offered for monthly subscriptions due to their policy. The subscription was canceled for the next cycle but I ended up paying for something I knew I would not use. This was a very disappointing experience. I believe more flexibility and customer focused policies could prevent such issues in the future.

I did not like anything about it. It is just not useful.

Cons

Too many issues but the one that caught my eye the most is that it only works with files in the PPT format.

“Unfair trial policies

Pros

As an independent contractor I was looking for help with creating a branded slide template and especially some design help for a comparison slide. Unfortunately the tool did not meet my expectations for this.

Cons

The trial policies are pretty deceptive. The solution did not suit my needs but once the trial ended, I was charged for a full year's license. The company refused to issue a prorated refund, citing their policy that only offers refunds within 24 hours. They also did not respond when I asked for my card information to be deleted. I can accept my mistake for missing the cancellation but I think a prorated refund would have been a fair resolution.

“Don't waste your time with this tool

Pros

Nothing really stood out to me. Even though some of the templates were okay but overall, not worth the money.

Cons

Lack of customization and limited customer support are some of the major drawbacks I have noticed. Also there are very few images that are appropriate for a corporate setting. The AI capabilities are pretty useless and it just keeps repeating the same layout and content. The desktop version is slow and the user experience is not great.

It is just average at best. The platform does not offer anything better than Google Slides or MS PowerPoint. I found nothing so special about it.

I tried Beautiful.ai for preparing a presentation for a job interview but like many others, I forgot to cancel before the trial expired. Instead of being charged monthly I was hit with a full $150 yearly charge. This felt like a predatory practice and when I contacted support, they did nothing.

Pros

The software is fun to use and allows us to easily design professional slides. Importing and exporting to PowerPoint is also not a problem which means you can incorporate other materials and share presentations offline.

Cons

It can be a little tricky to get the exact format we need for our slides.

Pros

Beautiful.ai UI makes presentation creation feel simple. The templates and clean design of the website make working on presentations very easy. We can even manipulate each slide to our liking and there is really no limit to what we can do yet it always looks beautiful. The stock images included on the site make the presentations more engaging. Plus I cannot emphasize enough how useful all of it features are for creating great presentations. It is incredibly easy to make stunning slides with it.

Cons

Many of the main features that attract you to the software like the AI-generated slides are locked behind a paywall. This can be frustrating at times as the premium membership hides a lot of great features which seems unfair to me. That said I can still create beautiful presentations.

It is exactly what everyone has been waiting for. Being AI-powered, it is fast and quite accurate. I have enjoyed creating flexible slides and the results are always smart and modern. The well designed dashboard meets all my visual document needs. Also it is highly adaptable to the changing world.

Cons

No cons to mention at all. All the features are easily accessible and it helps us generate professional and well-organized slides.

This is simply the best for working smart. Also it is an amazing product that's simple to use with no unnecessary tags. It is perfectly coded. I have been using it to build my presentations and it has significantly improved my results. And it is cost effective and has amazing features that automatically generate slides.

There are no downsides to this amazing software. It is perfect for the modern work environment and has truly changed the way I work.

“Makes our presentations more professional

What I love is that the design system is powered by AI giving us a wide range of presentation options. It suggests layouts, fonts, colors and images that fit the content. Plus there are lots of professional slide templates for any presentation style.

Cons

The only downside might be that we have to rely entirely on the algorithm for the presentations. This means we trust artificial intelligence to create the slides instead of doing it ourselves, which some might see as a negative.

“The refund policy is awful

It looks great at first but I still have some reservations.

Stay away from it. As it may look nice on the surface but my experience was anything but unpleasant. I signed up for a free trial and realized it was not right for me and canceled. But then they charged me twice. When I reached out to support they refused to help or issue a refund.

It pulled me away from PowerPoint, offering smart and productive features. At first I did not like the forced constraints meant to prevent cluttering but over time, I learned to create better presentations and improve my skills as a presenter. I love the templates whether for an entire presentation or just one slide and the collection of images and media is fantastic. Plus we can customize our templates and there is a collaboration area for team use.

Cons

Sometimes the software works really slow on my computer and older presentations need to be updated because the template has changed.

What I love most is how easy they have made it for us to focus solely on the content instead of worrying about the design. I used to spend so much time tweaking the design of my presentations rather than focusing on the content. In short Beautiful.ai is a lifesaver.

Honestly nothing really. The software has everything we need to make a successful presentation. The trial gives us a great preview of what they offer.

I wish the offline viewer would allow me to play videos. Right now the only way to play videos from a Beautiful.ai presentation is when I am connected to the internet.
