“safe, secure browsing and built-in adblock”

Pros

Safe and secure browsing. It delivers a smooth browsing experience without those annoying ads that pop up unexpectedly. The built-in ad blocker is a big plus, pages feel cleaner and faster.

Cons

It has been outstanding and highly secure for me so there aren't any downsides to point out.

“fast and secure browsing”

Pros

Privacy is the first thing that pops into my mind when I think about the Brave browser. I moved over from Google Chrome mainly because I was worried about my data and Brave has been handling that really well. Along with a super fast browsing experience, it also brings extra security features plus solid built-in ad blocking.

Cons

Rewards (BAT) could use some improvement. I occasionally run into issues when adding the Brave Wallet, there are times the process gets stuck around the captcha and I notice glitches fairly regularly.

“ad blocking is why I stayed”

Pros

If you want a browser that helps keep your online identity more secure, Brave is a solid choice. I really enjoyed using it because the websites I visited couldn't track me the way they usually do and the whole experience felt noticeably more protected. That privacy focus is what convinced me to recommend it, I'd genuinely suggest trying it out.

Cons

A downside you might run into is that the browsing experience doesn't feel quite as polished or feature-rich as a standard browser. Still, that difference makes sense since it is built specifically around security and privacy rather than matching a traditional browsing workflow.

“Great software”

Pros

The biggest plus for me is the ad blocking. I was constantly getting annoyed by ads but this app doesn't show them at all which makes everything feel much cleaner and more focused.

Cons

Occasionally, when I'm searching for something, the app suddenly goes blank.

“One browser replaces five honestly!”

Pros

I used to keep a handful of browsers around for different tasks but Brave covers most of what I need so I don't end up switching anymore. I also appreciate that it just focuses on serving you without the kind of political or polarizing agendas I've run into with Big Tech.

Cons

Previously, I used Vivaldi and the one feature brave doesn't match is a notes app that syncs between the desktop and the Android browser. Other than that, it feels like it has similar capabilities and even more and the whole setup looks well designed and thought out.

“everything important on home screen”

Pros

The homescreen gives a clean overview of the important features and it's fast to jump into apps like Brave Wallet, built-in VPN options and more.

Cons

Honestly there's not much to complain about here, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive overall.

“Supports chrome extensions”

Pros

Brave's privacy focus feels really solid for the way people browse online today. It blocks adware and malware, cuts down on tracking and also supports Chrome extensions which makes it practical for everyday use.

Cons

It can be a bit resource-hungry when you install a lot of extensions. Having a faster computer with plenty of RAM definitely helps.

“Plenty of customization”

Pros

Setup was easy but you still get plenty of customization options if you want to design things more to your style.

Cons

Avatar selection is limiting, I'd really like the option to upload my own avatar design instead of being confined to the choices provided.

“improves productivity”

Pros

The built-in ad blocker for YouTube feels genuinely native and it makes working with video a lot less of a hassle. It also helps that it looks similar to Chrome so it's been simple to roll out to older folks in the company and get them to adopt it without much friction.

Cons

Private browsing on mobile doesn't quite hit the mark. If you're logged into a site and close the page, coming back sometimes keeps you logged in, whereas Safari and other privacy-focused browsers don't behave that way. Extension support can be hit-or-miss too especially when compared with Chrome.

“saves time”

Pros

Really focuses on privacy protection and blocks third-party ads which cuts down the amount of data that gets collected. Browsing feels quicker and more efficient too since it gets rid of distracting or unnecessary content. Since it's open source, there's also more transparency and trust in what it's doing.

Cons

It's good, i found no major issues with it

“getting paid back for browsing”

Pros

It's been genuinely rewarding to get paid back for the time I spend using my browser. When I wanted to earn more, I could also enable ads to boost the rewards which gave me control over how much I wanted to participate.

Cons

Ads are part of the deal to earn additional rewards which isn't ideal though I understand why it's set up that way.

“great private browsing experience”

Pros

Nice interface, easy without unnecessary complexity and navigation feels really quick. It also keeps things private and secure by automatically blocking third-party ads and trackers, plus there's extra privacy protection thanks to its tracker blocking features.

Cons

Because it blocks ads and trackers, a few websites don't load or work as expected.

“strong adblock!!”

Pros

I genuinely think this is one of the best browsers out there. The built-in ad blocking is among the strongest and it even blocks "adblock detected" pop-ups on sites that try to stop you. There are also rewards for using it which adds a nice bonus. Also, it blocks the super annoying "accept cookies" pop-up so browsing feels a lot cleaner.

Cons

The mobile version needs work, videos don't play properly at 1080p sometimes but its a great tool overall.

“switched years ago, never looked back”

Pros

Stayed my go-to browser since I switched from Chrome a couple of years back. The speed is noticeably better and I also like that it seems to help conserve my device's battery by optimizing the browsing process. Also, it blocks cross-site trackers and prevents fingerprinting scripts from running. Between Brave Shields and the stronger privacy tools, brave feels more secure than the other mainstream browsers I've tried.

Cons

So over the last few years, there have only been around six times when it froze and stopped responding. It's pretty uncommon but when it happens the browser can't be used for a while until it resolves but i guess its not a deal breaker

The ad-blocking feature works really well and it uses noticeably less hardware resources. As a result, there are no ads showing up on YouTube which is a huge win.

“blocks cookies really well”

Pros

Its privacy and built-in ad blocker are what really give it the edge. It blocks non-essential cookies and cuts down the ads you run into every day pretty significantly. Functionally, it includes the full set of browser features and behaves much the same way as Chrome. Setup is easy.. download and install takes very little time. On mobile, it's also been optimised for continuity between devices so it feels consistent across platforms.

Cons

No cons from my side!!

“actually saves a lot of time!”

Pros

You can manage your browsing privacy by blocking websites and cookies from being tracked. The ad-blocking features are pretty well developed and it also stops scripts that try to mine digital currencies. Performance feels light too, simple consumption that doesn't really chew up RAM or the processor. You can even create a Brave coin wallet directly inside the browser and it helps save internet data. Overall it looks good.

Cons

There's still room for more development. The interface feels a lot like Google Chrome and I'd prefer a more unique, special design instead of a similar layout. It also sounds like the AI features could be improved even further.

“brave browser with rewards”

Pros

This is my go-to browser since it includes basically every feature I need and it's genuinely easy to use. I can open all my usual sites without getting hit with ads and I can browse anytime without worrying too much. Also, the browser's rewards system is a nice bonus for staying productive while I browse.

Cons

At the moment, there aren't really any downsides for me, other than occasional non-responsiveness which can make a few actions feel a little inconvenient when it happens.

“handles ads, trackers and cookies perfectly!”

Pros

Built-in ad blocker, along with trackers, cookies and other junk, makes browsing feel fantastic. I also like the optional payment system where you can watch ads, it's clearly designed so you can choose whether or not to go for that route. Also, the integration with Chrome bookmarks, favorites and saved passwords is really solid and convenient.

Cons

Recently, they've blocked the sign-in process with Uphold and Gemini in Argentina, apparently so you can't earn rewards by watching ads.

“Impressive”

Pros

Using it actually makes me feel more confident while browsing. I can personalize what I'm able to see and what I'm not and the profile statistics are a big plus for me. It's great that I can stay informed about how the search tool is working without needing to request status or usage updates every time.

Cons

Paid features that let you watch ads should be stricter around personalization because occasionally the results don't match the expectations you build before using the software.
