“Ditched google and never looked back!!”
Pros
Brave is honestly the best browser I've used so far. I bet it would be a solid pick for most people too if they're looking to try something new. I'm not a big fan of the other options.. especially Google. And it feels completely focused on the user instead of pushing other agendas.
Cons
I haven't come across much to dislike about it. It's genuinely my go-to browser. The only minor complaint is that I haven't been able to find enough information about the Brave Wallet that shows up when I open the browser. It looks promising but it would be better if there were more clearly accessible details right there.

“Perfect for testing web apps”
Pros
It feels really easy to use, with a clean layout that's genuinely user friendly. It strikes a nice balance between customization and solid privacy/security while browsing. I also rely on it for testing web and mobile applications since it gives me a browser environment that's different from my main one which helps catch issues earlier.
Cons
A few well-known messaging and web-based communication features don't always work as expected in this tool because of its built-in privacy protections. When that happens, I sometimes have to turn off Shields or switch to another browser to get full compatibility.

“no ads and generous API limits”
Pros
To start with, they've put together a really polished browser UI. Another standout is that there are absolutely no ads, period. As a developer, I also appreciate that it is accessible through their generous API limits which makes it practical to build with.
Cons
From my side, there aren't many real complaints, if anything, a few high WebGPU-required websites don't run as smoothly as expected. Everything else has been solid.

“two years, zero regrets”
Pros
I'm using it as my main browser for around two years now and I genuinely don't regret that choice at all. It's become pretty essential for the way I use it, both for work and for everyday browsing.
Cons
At the moment, I haven't come across any real downsides because it has all the features you need for solid, reliable navigation.

“fewer ads and pretty secure”
Pros
Really like that I can browse with very few ads inside the sites. Also, I'm aware that they only collect the essential data and that honestly makes me feel safer.
Cons
It doesn't always integrate smoothly with every app that gets developed and sometimes certain websites block the loading of some of their content.

“Its actually great”
Pros
Its ad and script blocking is solid and there are plenty of extensions available. It also comes with Rewards for staying active on the browser. Also, there's a built-in VPN option for private networking.
Cons
No cons though there's just that when I keep multiple tabs open, the browser consumes more energy which quickly drains the battery.

“Handles everything chrome does”
Pros
There are no advertisements, it runs without needing a central authority and it stays up to date. It's clearly built with web3 in mind and it's capable of handling basically everything I expect from Chrome.
Cons
Every now and then it crashes if I push it with too many tabs open. Still, I've used an extension that helps me close and save tabs as lists which fixes the workflow for me.

“privacy-first browser”
Pros
Privacy is the standout here for me and it also feels genuinely quick. Under the hood it uses a Chrome engine which gives me a lot of confidence since I've trusted Chrome since it basically began. After other browsers entered the scene over time, this one still managed to feel the most "right" overall.

“strong privacy on every device”
Pros
This is a dependable web browser packed with strong security and privacy tools and it's available on a wide range of operating systems... Android, Linux and Windows included.
Cons
Brave Rewards side of things didn't really interest me and I couldn't find a setting to prevent background tab loading when the browser is configured to reopen previous tabs automatically after startup.

“Switching from chrome was easy!”
Pros
An easy, no-fuss browser that delivers strong privacy protection along with built-in ad blocking. Moving over from Chrome didn't feel like a chore and I was able to import all my data without any hassle.
Cons
Nothing negative to report, it's an underrated product and I expect it'll get even better as more people discover it.

“so safe and easy to use”
Pros
Genuinely, it makes my browsing feel more secure. Ad blocking works really well and I rarely end up on those sketchy, spammy pages that look like phishing traps. I also appreciate that it lets me watch YouTube videos or listen to music without ads and I don't need a premium subscription to get that benefit. When I switched to a new laptop, the sync feature was a lifesaver, it kept my bookmarks, settings and browsing history footprints consistent. I like that Brave is built on the Chromium engine but with a customized version that adds privacy protections and removes features that could hurt performance or privacy. The overall UI/UX feels polished and coming from Chrome, the transition didn't take much adjustment. Also, the plugin customization options give me a lot more control over how I set things up and use my browser tools.
Cons
Because the ad-blocking is so aggressive, a few plugins don't always play nicely.. especially color picker tools and screen capture extensions I've tried. It can be a little restrictive when specific tools I depend on don't behave the way they should.

“Impressive speed”
Pros
I'm genuinely happy using it every day. It feels like a better version of Google Chrome and the Brave Rewards system is a big plus for me. I also appreciate that you can control how many ads you want to see so the experience stays flexible.
Cons
Personalization isn't super deep but it's still enough for my needs.

“sync keeps passwords and bookmarks aligned”
Pros
Built-in ad-blocking and privacy controls have been a big win for me. I also really like the sync chain because it keeps my data moving smoothly and makes saved items, bookmarks and saved passwords especially, feel smooth between devices.
Cons
There are moments when syncing from an older device to a newer one takes a bit of time. Also some things like opened tabs still don't carry over across devices.

“custom controls are awesome”
Pros
Privacy is the big win here, it's clearly built with user privacy in mind. It also includes its own separate search engine, not just relying on Google or Bing. Also, there are built-in crypto and AI features which is handy if you actually want them. There's also good control over what you enable, you can disable any features you don't want so it doesn't clutter your workflow. Compared to other browsers, the settings feel more configurable while still staying sensible and not overcomplicated.
Cons
Crypto and AI features can feel a bit too "in your face" straight out of the box. Even if the tools are there for a reason, the default presentation can be distracting until you tone it down.

“takes time to get used to”
Pros
This is a pretty solid alternative web browser. Its privacy tools are good enough that you don't feel like your sensitive info is going to get snatched. It also handles ad and tracker blocking really well so browsing feels faster compared to a lot of other options. Also, it includes a built-in rewards system that gives you points for watching certain ads. Compatibility is another plus, it runs on Windows, Linux, iOS and Android. You can also sign in to your account and sync things across all your devices.
Cons
It brings a lot of useful features but it still doesn't cover everything. Browser extensions often aren't as optimized as you'd expect so they may not work as smoothly or correctly as in other browsers. Some competing browsers are more polished and beginner-friendly overall, whereas it can take a little time to get used to.

“strong privacy!”
Pros
Getting paid for searching the web is honestly a nice perk. The Google search results work well and it feels like my data is protected. Also, its built-in ad blocking keeps annoying ads from showing up so I'm not having to deal with things that could potentially compromise my private information.
Cons
Would be better to have more payment options. Also, signing up to earn BAT was a little tricky and took more effort than it should have.

“Stable and rewarding”
Pros
I've been using it as my main browser for a few years now and it's been a solid daily driver. It feels quick and stable, plus there are plenty of useful built-in features. The built-in ad blocker is one of the big wins for me, I leave it on everywhere and pages load cleaner and feel noticeably faster because there's less junk to deal with. I also like the crypto rewards option. They build up at a pretty slow pace but over the first few years I was able to exchange enough to pull in a few dozen euros. Overall, it's a really good browser and I'd recommend it.
Cons
No real complaints. Occasionally the crypto wallet will disconnect and I have to sign back in. It's not a deal-breaker and it hasn't been disruptive but I figured I should mention it.

“I get work done faster now”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is its ability to filter out unwanted ads which helps me browse more smoothly and get my work done without unnecessary distractions.
Cons

“impressive privacy controls in brave”
Pros
Privacy is a big deal and it backs that up by letting you control how much information you share while you browse. The browser feels built around giving people more say over their privacy settings.

“Ad-free browsing with built-in vpn”
Pros
There are no ads in the app and it also blocks tracking so you don't get followed around. It lets you watch YouTube without ads as well and the UI feels clean and well designed. Also, it includes a built-in VPN which is a nice bonus.
Cons
Logging in with a Google account isn't supported. When it replaces other ads, it ends up showing its own ads instead and the built-in VPN functionality requires payment.
