“Top no-code platform for app building

Pros

Bubble is an amazing no code platform. I find it simple to use and the design is quite suitable too.

Cons

One thing I have noticed is that large projects tend to face performance issues from time to time.

“Signup issues

Pros

We can do so much without needing to write code. Plus it has helpful learning modules, full design control and is very flexible.

Cons

Safari's auto-complete for login passwords causes errors. This is a major problem for us because nearly 50% of our users are on Safari. And forcing users to switch to Chrome is not ideal for creating friction during the signup process. Additionally support is slow and often just redirects us to the community forum.

“Perfect for MVPs

Pros

As a startup founder I have been using Bubble.io for over two years, building everything from small prototypes to enterprise-level solutions that met even the strictest due diligence standards. I rarely encounter technical limitations and if I do, there is usually a workaround. Also I have been able to set up APIs and connect to other systems quickly. Overall the platform and support are growing rapidly.

Cons

It does have a learning curve at first but if you have a coding background, you will quickly get used to the bubble logic. Also some tasks are a bit trial and error. And sometimes it is unclear to me how to complete certain steps and the documentation does not cover every scenario.

“Helps us create websites in no time

Pros

Me as a founder really love how easily I could design what I wanted with a college student, then find a skilled developer to create the MVP. Afterward a local designer/developer took over and we now have a fantastic marketplace search engine.

Cons

Bubble occasionally goes down but I believe the issues are fixed fairly quickly.

“A good choice for startups

Pros

I used it to create an app that manages logistics and operations for my startup. Without Bubble we would have needed to pay thousands of dollars to hire professional coders to build the app. I decided to learn how to code through it and we saved a lot of money by building it ourselves. Now the app works and we have launched.

Cons

There is definitely a learning curve but once we push past it, we able to create pretty much anything.

“Cancelling auto-pay is almost impossible

Pros

The concept is great and there are so many detailed videos for every aspect of app development. In fact there are so many videos that at times it feel like an adventure trying to find answers to simple tasks that could be easily solved with standard programming. In short you could easily spend a lot of time figuring out how to build an app for something basic like canceling a service with Bubble.

Cons

I did not find it good at all as I feel like it is easier to write code than to figure out how to use this platform as it took way too long time of mine.

“Simple but could use some improvements

Pros

The interface is easy to learn and use. Also we find it it simple to deploy.

Cons

There is no support for other native databases, no relational integrity and the sequence of workflow execution is not always clear or reliable. Also I find it tough or sometimes impossible to estimate the monthly costs when running in production.

“If you know the basics, learning it is not a problem

Pros

Well the best part is the flexibility. As we can really build anything.

Cons

The learning center and video tutorials mainly focus on beginners. And once we are already comfortable with Bubble then finding advanced content becomes difficult and there is a lot of room for improvement.

“Good but not easy to learn

Pros

It is easy to get started and make progress. There are plenty of tutorials and a large community of people who are available to help us with development.

Cons

Definitely learning curve is there as it too me time to understand it. I started developing with it but gave up after a few weeks because it was too hard to learn. However the resources I found later have helped improve my experience with the platform.

“The best decision I've made

Pros

The no-code approach, along with its simplicity makes it really easy for us to manage.

Cons

Honestly I found it way too expensive. It would be great if there were discounts available.

It is easy to learn how to set things up. It saves us a lot of time in developing our site.

Cons

Well I would be happy if we could create native apps with it.

“Avoid, it's a scam!

Pros

There is nothing we like about it. They are just trying to trap you with subscription scams.

Cons

There is no customer service. And I continued to be billed after removing my payment details and receiving UI confirmation that they were deleted.

“Great for prototyping

Pros

I can easily integrate and call APIs from AWS Cloud. Also Bubble lets me control my app's responsiveness to adapt to different UIs. And I like the feature where I can create a backup of my project and restore it whenever needed.

Cons

It is quite expensive and the free trial does not allow for API integrations. I am also not fond of the database because it is very limited and does not allow much customization. Additionally it is a bit slow when previewing images and files hosted on Bubble's servers.

“Had a unique experience

Pros

It is great to be able to turn my ideas into a product without needing to know how to code.

Cons

I did not realize before how much effort would be required for workflow management. Well now I know that quite a lot is needed.

“Reasons to choose it

Pros

Not only is it easy to use but it is powerful. Overall it is a complete program. Plus it is secure.

Cons

I feel like the data interface could be much more useful and easier to use.

I find it easy to use, develop and deploy. And my suggestion is to release more useful plugins.

Cons

One issue with it is that basic functionalities are missing.

Pros

It allows me to build web apps without coding and the learning curve is not too steep as I was able to get a hang of it without a problem.

Cons

The constant price changes are frustrating and they often eliminate the features we originally had.

Pros

Bubble software is simple to use and implement that too with a powerful database and easy to use queries.

Cons

To me integration of SendGrid in the parameters is still unclear.
