“Simple and quick mind mapping

Pros

For me, the best part about It is how incredibly practical and simple it is to use. I've tried several mind-mapping tools before but It stands out because it doesn't complicate things.

Cons

In the free version, you can't use different or sharper colors which would be really useful.

“Ideal tool!

Pros

It's such a time-saver because I can start working on my mind maps on my laptop and then pick up right where I left off on my phone or tablet. It makes my workflow so much smoother.

Cons

I wish there were more editable templates with different designs to choose from.

This software lets me visualize my ideas in a fun, colorful way. It has endless applications.

The free version is pretty limited and you also have to make your project open to the public.

“Simple mind map creation

This tool is so easy to use. I can quickly map out a website sitemap or create a detailed map of my sales process and share it with my team.

Cons

The simplicity of Coggle can also be a downside because you don't have much control over how your mind map looks. For example you can't add colors to parts of a branch and the font options are limited.

“Wonderful tool for mapping your thoughts

Pros

It's user-friendly, modern and clean. Plus the export function is a bonus. Great value!

Cons

There's still room for improvement but it has all the basic features you need.

It makes it easy for my students to create diagrams or mind maps. They can share them with me and even collaborate with others. I also love how easy it is to use and the fact you can sign in with Google!

Cons

There aren't many templates available which makes it take longer for my students to create diagrams especially if the templates don't fit their project needs.

As a teacher, I recommend this software to my students for brainstorming and connecting ideas.

Cons

I can't think of anything I dislike about it right now.

It is great for mind maps. The best part? I can collaborate with others in real-time. Adding loops and branches is really simple.

The product is only available on a monthly subscription and I missed the Black Friday deal.

“Turn chaos into clarity with structure

Pros

Coggle is easy to understand and use. Making entries is simple and changing them is also very easy process. The design is responsive and makes it easy to organize my ideas, plan campaign and track my progress.

Cons

It took me a few tries before I gave up trying to control where each new entry goes. It's no big deal though because everything is super easy to move around. It made me realize how much I tend to micromanage!

“Top-notch software

Pros

The UX is beautiful, the icons are nice and the use of Markdown makes creating texts, lists and headers enjoyable. It's easy to use, organize with folders and collaborate with others.

Cons

Missing some advanced image options. In the free version, you're limited to only 3 private maps. Also there are a few issues with the mobile view, so I'll need to try the mobile app.

“Map out your mind!

Pros

At first, it seemed tricky but I got the hang of it in under 10 minutes. It has helped me organize my academic articles way better. Now I have a process called "Coggling" before drafting my articles and it helps me clarify my big ideas.

Cons

It works for some articles but not for others. This isn't a flaw, just a limitation for me. Also I'm not a big fan of how collaboration works between two people using Coggle.

The keyboard shortcuts make typing faster and organizing without the mouse easy. I love the colors and how I can move lines around.

Cons

I haven't figured out how to combine mind maps yet.

Our Executive Team has been really impressed with the quality of Coggle's mind maps. As the main user I find it incredibly easy to create colorful, professional presentations to share.

Cons

When copying an existing diagram, I sometimes lose track of where the copy went. It's a minor issue considering everything else is great.

Creating mind maps is easy and they're colorful and simple to understand. Adding images, links, etc, is very easy.

It's sometimes tricky to place the branches exactly where I want because the auto-place function takes over.

I absolutely love the colors for mind mapping. The interface is clean and user-friendly so I can jump right in without any issue.

The free version is a bit restricted.

“Maps for work & personal use

Pros

I've always loved organizing my thoughts with mind maps. I've used a lot of different apps on my PC and Mac but I'm so glad I found It. All the features I used before are now available in my web browser on any device and I can even use my smartphone. Plus all my work gets backed up automatically with my Google account. I can share my mind maps with anyone who has a Google account and collaboration is easy and hassle-free.

Cons

Some of my colleagues say It can get slow or clunky when the mind map gets too big. I haven't had this issue myself but it might be because of their other apps or hardware. It affects our collaboration but overall I'm still really happy with It.

“My fav!

Pros

I started making mind maps here after always doing them on paper. It works so well and I can export them to text. I'm never going back to paper again!

Cons

If you've got some extra cash, the premium features are worth it. But I'm a fan of free software!
