“A good governance toolkit”

Pros

Coming into this as a first-time board management software user, I picked up a lot about governance documentation along the way. The platform offers plenty of useful features for organizational governance, such as minute templates and the ability to embed videos which made the process more structured and informative.

Cons

A few parts of the workflow had some minor kinks. I ended up reaching out to customer support a couple of times to sort out small issues or have certain things handled manually on their end.

“Meeting prep is quicker now”

Pros

Putting together details, writing notes and building meeting agendas used to take a lot of time but this software has made that whole process much quicker and simpler. It also offers more features than a lot of other software I've used.

Cons

There's a small learning curve at first but overall it's been really good.

“Accurate SAST threat detection”

Pros

JSDefender has been really useful during our SAST process because it catches vulnerabilities in the code reliably. The threat reports are accurate and the number of false positives is very low which makes the results much more trustworthy.

Cons

At this point, I do not have any real complaints. JSDefender seems to be heading in the right direction.

“overall decent experience..”

Pros

The more time I spend with this software, the more I understand what it can do. To really get the most out of the minutes features, a solid training program for employees is pretty much necessary. Without proper training or regular use, it can be hard to navigate and use effectively.

Cons

Team is still working on making the program more user-friendly.

“outdated interface”

Pros

There's a wide range of tools available for taking minutes and we're hoping to make better use of more of those features than we have up to this point.

Cons

Software includes a lot of helpful minute-taking functions but the interface still doesn't feel user-friendly enough. Building templates is challenging, the preview button is awkward to work with and some of my colleagues find the system intimidating.

“powerful workflows”

Pros

The approval workflows for reports have been really useful and I can handle a lot of the technical setup myself without needing help from an IT department.

Cons

One issue keeps coming up with PDFs, I get an "incorrect file structure" error whenever I try to do anything with the PDF afterward.

“flexible Word edits and batch scheduling”

Pros

Being able to convert things into Word and edit them that way is really useful. Another plus is that I can schedule multiple meetings at the same time which saves me a lot of effort.

Cons

Took a little while to learn but once I got the hang of it, it worked well.

“Agenda tracking that delivers”

Pros

Creating agendas is very simple and the task management feature helps us stay on top of open items from every meeting. We're also excited about the product eventually being available in HTML.

Cons

Minutes can run into formatting problems because of the tables. Fixing those issues is frustrating at times and it can be time-consuming when you're trying to finish the minutes quickly.
