Notes keep pace with you

Pros

Jotting down bullet point ideas or reminders is fast and convenient especially when I am with a vendor on-site or working through details for a new package. The color coding also helps a lot since I can instantly tell apart personal notes, client preferences and team to dos.

Cons

It doesn't work all that well for sharing longer updates with the team. Once too much detail gets added, the notes start to feel cluttered and aside from labels, there really isn't much available for organizing everything. It seems more like a tool for quick capture than a complete planning system.

Great for support team note taking

Pros

It lets me quickly jot down troubleshooting steps or ticket details and the color-coding is really helpful for organizing notes by urgency or by customer.

Cons

Searching for much older notes isn't very reliable when they aren't tagged properly so it takes longer than it should to track down past solutions.

very flexible note taking app

Pros

The tool is very flexible for note taking. It lets you save notes in several formats including audio, images, text, lists and even drawings. One of the best parts is being able to combine lists, photos and drawings inside a single note which makes it much more useful than a basic notes app. Everything seems fast and responsive so adding or updating notes never feels slow. Sharing notes is quick and simple and collaboration works really well. I especially like that several people can edit the same note at the same time. That feature is perfect for everyday situations like a shopping list, where my partner can add or update items while I am at the store checking them off on the exact same list. It saves a lot of time and avoids unnecessary back and forth. The sync works reliably and efficiently which makes the whole experience even better. Also I like that notes can have different colors or backgrounds since it helps a lot when trying to find a specific note quickly. The search function is very helpful too, making it fast to locate whatever you need. Organizing notes is easy with labels and the option to create custom labels makes it even more practical. If there is a note I do not want on the main screen, I can archive it and still find it later through its label. Overall the app seems well thought out, practical and very user friendly. It does a really impressive job of keeping things simple while still offering plenty of useful features.

Cons

One limitation is that if you accidentally start a note as plain text, you can convert it into a list but you cannot switch it back the other way around. Also on older Android versions, the app can sometimes stop working when the screen is rotated.

All in one

Pros

Google Keep works really well as my all in one note app. I can quickly write down thoughts, expenses or reminders and everything stays synced between my phone and laptop which makes it really convenient when I am out and need to keep up with things.

Cons

The thing that bothers me is that the search feature isn't always very precise. Once I have built up a lot of saved notes, tracking down older ones can get frustrating.

Very portable

Pros

The best feature, hands down is how smoothly the sync works between all my devices. I can grab whatever device is closest to me and I know everything's updated everywhere even on the devices where I've shared my notes.

Cons

Unfortunately, importing isn't an option with Google Keep.

Tool for all my note-taking needs

Pros

I like how It syncs across all my devices. One of my favorite ways to use it was making a shared grocery list with my family. The real-time updates made sure we never missed anything. The color-coding and labeling features are also really helpful for keeping things organized.

Cons

The app doesn't offer a lot of formatting options or advanced features like folder organization (since Obsidian is built for Markdown). The reminders feature is helpful but it's not as robust as a dedicated to-do list app.

Best way to manage notes

Pros

The labeling feature is the most useful for me. It helps me separate my notes by whatever criteria I want. Plus sharable checklists are great for managing tasks whether it's work projects or shopping lists. The app is versatile, available both as a web app or a smartphone app.

Cons

Having an import feature would definitely save a lot of time sometimes.

Helps me keep track of everything

Pros

It's like a digital sticky note for me. It's great for capturing ideas, to-dos and reminders on the spot. It's simple to use, lets me color-code text and syncs everything across my devices so I never forget anything.

Cons

It's great for quickly jotting down notes but it's missing some of the advanced features you might find in other, more fully-featured note-taking apps like rich text formatting or detailed organization options.
