“Handy for writing and formatting

Pros

I like that It's free and still a solid alternative to Microsoft Office. Works well for what I need.

Cons

It's more limited than Microsoft Office and there were times when the file just wouldn't open on certain devices. That can be a hassle.

Pros

It's been super helpful for us especially when we couldn't afford the latest Microsoft 365 package. It really came through as a backup.

Cons

The interface is starting to feel a bit old and it doesn't have a ton of tools built in. It works but it's definitely not packed with features.

It's open-source and doesn't cost anything, which is great. I think it's a really good fit for small businesses that need basic office tools without the high price tag.

It's not the most user-friendly app. There's no cloud storage and the templates it comes with are pretty limited too.

Honestly not much to say here, most of the features are already offered by other decent software but it still works fine.

The mobile version has ads which I don't love and the interface isn't the greatest either. Feels like it could use a refresh.

“Better compatibility than other free tools

Pros

One thing I love is the OS compatibility. It runs on both Windows and Linux, so my whole team can use it no matter what system they're on. No one's forced to switch just to get their work done.

Cons

Every now and then, I get formatting issues when moving documents between Writer and Microsoft Word especially if the layout is complicated or has things like checkboxes. Not super common but still a pain when it happens.

Since it's open source and totally free, it's been a great fit for our small business. We didn't need to spend extra and it works just fine.

Cons

I don't find it user-friendly. There's no cloud storage built-in and the template selection is pretty limited compared to other apps.

Honestly it's a great free alternative to Microsoft Office and other paid tools. It gets the job done without the extra cost.

I think it's good but there's definitely room for improvement. A few more features would make it even better.

I don't love that there are ads on the mobile version and the interface could definitely be cleaner. It's not the worst but it's not great either.
