“Switched from office 365
Pros
It is seriously the best thing out there after MS and the fact that it's completely free makes it even better. It's perfect for folks like me who don't want or can't afford to pay for a subscription.
Cons
One thing that bugs me is how sometimes I have to convert my files just to get them to work. It's not a huge deal but it's kind of a problem.

“Solid free tool for managing stuff
Pros
I love that this software lets me create, edit and manage all sorts of documents without spending a dime. It's perfect for anyone working on a tight budget especially small teams or organizations that don't have cash to throw around.
Cons
The biggest plus is that it's totally free which is awesome. But honestly it doesn't play well with a lot of modern workplace tools. That's a bit of a letdown if you're trying to stay connected across platforms.

“Awesome for handling documents
Pros
One thing I really like is how the programs are way lighter and simpler than the Windows versions. That means my computer runs faster which is a huge win for me.
Cons
To be honest there's really nothing I dislike about LibreOffice. It's a solid set of programs for handling all kinds of documents and it just works for me.

“Pretty good free office suite
Pros
What I like most about this tool is that it's totally free and it's been veryhelpful for our clients especially the non-commercial ones. They can handle their office work without having to pay those big licensing fees.
Cons
One thing that bugged me was how some document formats didn't convert properly. Also a few of the menu items feel a bit awkwardly placed. It takes some time to get used to.

“Works well instead of office
Pros
I appreciate that we can use It without having to pay anything. Free stuff that actually works well? Count me in.
Cons
The interface does feel a bit outdated to me but it's not a dealbreaker. It still works fine, it just doesn't look as modern as other apps.

Pros
It's a really convenient and affordable solution that works across different devices and platforms. I've used it on a few setups and it runs just fine everywhere.

“Good microsoft alternative
Pros
I love that it's free and open-source. It even has a desktop database, which is awesome if you're not using Microsoft. Plus, none of your info is forced into the cloud, it stays local which I prefer.
Cons
Some parts of the user experience could definitely be better. It's not bad but it could feel a bit more polished like some of the commercial software out there.

“Close to ms office, but free
Pros
It's almost right up there with Microsoft Office but it doesn't cost a thing. I'm honestly impressed by how much it offers for free.
Cons
I keep running into compatibility issues with Microsoft files and it gets annoying. I guess it's kind of expected though even Microsoft has these problems with its own stuff.

“Easy to use for writing docs
Pros
LibreOffice is free to use and a good replacement for MS Office. I've switched over and it's working great for me so far.
Cons
It's got fewer options compared to Microsoft and I've had cases where a document just wouldn't open on certain devices. That part's kind of limiting.

Pros
This has been a super helpful tool for me especially when I couldn't afford to upgrade to the latest version of Microsoft 365. It's a real lifesaver.

The interface is starting to feel a bit outdated and there aren't a ton of tools to work with compared to newer apps.

“No need for ms office with this
Pros
It's free and open source which I love. Plus it even gives you a desktop database option that works outside the Microsoft world. And your data stays local, nothing gets pushed to the cloud which I actually prefer.
Cons
Some parts of the user experience could definitely use an upgrade. It works but it's not quite as smooth or polished as some of the big-name software out there.

“Gives ms office vibes without price
Pros
It's almost as good as Microsoft Office but totally free. You can get a lot done with it without ever paying a penny.
Cons
Running into compatibility issues with Microsoft files is always a pain. But I guess that's kind of expected even Microsoft's own tools don't always get along.

Pros
What I really like is that it's free but still gives you all the features other software charges for. It's kind of wild that it doesn't cost anything!
Cons
Sometimes it just won't open documents the way it should. That's frustrating when you need to get something done fast.
