“Great mailbox validation tool

Pros

This really helped us build a stronger database of our customers and precheck new contacts. It's made our email campaigns way more effective, improving both the value and deliverability of our emails.

Cons

We had to use Zapier instead of a direct integration into our CRM. It seems like it's not really applicable for every EU market based on the results we got.

“Best at blocking spam

Pros

The biggest feature for me is the spam blocking. It works so well.

It's super helpful and integrating it with WHMCS was quick and easy. No complaints there.

We needed a way to figure out if the mailboxes of registered users on our platform were temporary. After testing, we've found that it does a great job of identifying if the mailboxes are temporary or not.

MailboxValidator is more expensive compared to other email validation services. They have a free plan but if you want to validate more than 100 emails, you'll need to buy one of their paid plans. The paid plans start at $19.95, which lets you validate up to 1,000 emails and takes up to 4 hours. Free plan users only have support via a contact form but paid users get email support and access to a knowledge base.

“Key for marketing success

Pros

I use MailboxValidator in several of my Zapier automation funnels. As we all know, bounces, fake addresses and spam emails can really mess up the delivery of newsletters and marketing campaigns. It filters out those bad addresses, ensuring only good-quality contacts are added to my mailing list.

Cons

I'd love to see it get more recognition in the market. I didn't even know they had an API until I started writing this review and it could definitely be helpful for some other projects I'm working on.

“Solid API for validating emails

Pros

There are a lot of email validation options with MailboxValidator but what really caught my attention was the API, especially how well it integrates with PHP and its frameworks/CMS. I really love how simple it is to use.

Cons

Nothing really comes to mind but like any service, there's always room for improvement. For the API I'd love to see boolean responses be actual booleans instead of the literal strings "true" and "false."

This is definitely one of the best tools on the market to save time when validating email addresses. If you've got a marketing list with thousands of email addresses, this tool helps you validate them in no time. It's really easy to use and super user-friendly.

Cons

I liked everything about it but sometimes the customer support doesn't respond on time which can be a bit frustrating.

The premium trial is way too expensive. It's tough to justify the cost for that.
