“a complete messaging powerhouse”
Pros
After 14 years of using it, it has consistently been a stable and dependable platform for us. The content filtering is extremely flexible and with years of fine-tuning, I now have an email server that blocks most spam and malicious messages before they ever reach my users. The instant messaging client is a key part of how we communicate internally and features like calendaring, tasks and notes are all configurable to fit our needs. Also, it's a very affordable option compared to other more expensive systems.
Cons
Don't have any complaints about the system. It simply works and the support has been phenomenal. Whenever anything comes up, the staff is always able to help.

“great fix for email headaches”
Pros
So after dealing with Webhosting, MS Exchange, Zimbra and a few other email platforms, we kept running into serious problems with multipop emails, user mailbox backups, filtering and spam control. Once we decided to try MDaemon v14.5, it turned out to be a big help in resolving all of those issues and also reduced many of the day-to-day problems we were handling.
Cons
It still needs a few more filtering options. We also feel that version 19.5 processes things a bit slowly because of some issues, even though we are running the x64 application.

“fast setup and ad integration”
Pros
Getting MDaemon deployed is simple. You can have your organization up and running in under an hour and importing users during a migration is quick as well. The biggest advantage for me is how fast it connects with an existing AD setup. I've been using MDaemon for about fifteen years now.
Cons
The Unified Communication Client could use more work especially when it comes to functionality and the user interface. There's still some room to improve it.

“setup and migration is easy!”
Pros
I've been using this product for the past 12 years and it has consistently been a very solid solution. One of its best qualities is how quickly configuration and migration can be done, often in just a matter of minutes.
Cons
One feature I'd still like to see is the ability to add contact photos, similar to what's available in MS Exchange.

“useful security features”
Pros
Back in 2013, when I first started using this software, it felt a bit hard to understand as a new user. Once I spent some time learning it though, I became very happy with it and now it feels simple to use. The latest 19.5 version is especially good, with really useful additions like Security Settings, DMARC settings, Screen Location and the SPM Filter.
Cons
It's lightweight, flexible and user creation is simple.
