“A really useful software

Pros

They offer lots of writing style options with different synonym levels, custom word swaps and the ability to split long phrases or sentences for proofreading all at once. You can even paraphrase text right after finishing other tasks in the tool. Plus the translation feels almost human like in quality. Also it is great for summarizing content to different lengths while keeping key terms in place. And it can detect if the content was AI generated, proofread by AI or fully human-written.

Cons

Most of the powerful features are only available if you are on the Premium plan. And I would love to see more languages added to the tool.

QuillBot's AI tools do a solid job of rewriting content and on top of that it even gives me a score for what I have created.

One thing I have noticed is that at times when it auto rewrites a sentence, it ends up shifting the actual meaning.

It has been proven very helpful tool for me when paraphrasing or summarizing. Also it fixes grammar and lets you know if something was likely written by AI. And it has helped me keep my writing polished and professional across multiple projects.

The free plan only lets me paraphrase up to 125 words and it often throws in really uncommon or fancy words that do not feel natural as it makes it harder to avoid plagiarism. Plus their support team is pretty slow to respond.

I find it quite a useful tool for rewording text and it offers several ways to integrate it into different platforms.

There are a few things I would like to mention, such as refunds are quite restricted, support is limited and the add-in does not always work the same way every time.

Well I think QuillBot is a great pick for anyone who needs writing help especially since it is free for basic use. Also the design is clean and simple which makes it easy for all kinds of users. It is not just for paraphrasing either as it includes grammar checking, summarizing and text expansion which makes it a complete writing support tool.

One thing that bugs me is the AI detection not working for anything under 80 words. I get that it is designed for longer text but even being a couple words short blocks the scan. Also there should be more unlocked features for free users as too much is stuck behind the paywall.

One downside is that it needs an internet connection to work well. When the connection drops or slows down, it gets tough to use. It is annoying especially if we are on a deadline.

Every year I do campus research that ends up published in academic journals and those journals have strict rules against plagiarism. That is why I use QuillBot's paraphrasing tool as it is easy to use and the results show very low similarity when checked with Turnitin. I honestly enjoy using it.

Well one thing I am not a fan of is the grammar checker. Also it does not always give suitable replacement words that match the sentence properly.

It is basically a great spell checker. Also the features are decent but I would say it is not the most powerful tool out there.

I asked for a refund but was warned my account would be shut down with no payout. I used it for plagiarism checking but QuillBot's results did not match Turnitin's more accurate detection. As the refund was denied so I would recommend checking out other tools.

What I really appreciate is how simple and easy it is to use especially the interface.

It gets pretty frustrating to me when it takes too long to load or process your input.

As someone who writes content for a living, coming up with the right words can be frustrating. Here QuillBot helps a lot by offering alternative phrases and matching the tone to the target audience. Also the plagiarism checker works well too. Everything is easy to access and fairly priced so overall I am pretty satisfied.

Sometimes it just does not get the context right and spits out awkward rephrasing. I feel like it could definitely use some fine-tuning.

The user experience is alright. I mainly stick with it because it costs less than Grammarly.

Honestly there are too many issues to list. One major one to me is how weak the paraphrasing suggestions can be as it really shows the tool's limitations.
