“Best plagiarism tool for everyone”
Pros
This app is one of the coolest and easiest to use for just about anyone. The homepage is super simple, there are no unnecessary options, you just hit the "Submit" button and you're good to go. Plus you can choose between an individual plan or a business plan, depending on what you need. For researchers, it's one of the most commonly used apps out there and the AI detection feature is a huge help when it comes to finding relevant content. Oh and they also have a dedicated customer support phone line that's available to all users, which is pretty awesome!
Cons
The individual plan is pretty expensive, it starts at USD 150, and I don't think there's a cheaper option. For researchers, this plan is definitely not budget-friendly.

Honestly, there's nothing about the program I dislike. It's been really satisfying to use and works exactly as expected.

“Trusted tool”
Pros
It checks your article against a massive database of patents, academic journals and conference articles, making it really reliable for finding similarities across all kinds of sources. It's easy to use, supports different formats and can be quickly integrated into academic or institutional databases, which is great for streamlining your process.
Cons
Like most plagiarism checkers, Turnitin sometimes highlights common phrases or frequently used keywords, so you have to double-check the results to make sure you're not getting false positives.

“Streamlines the process”
Pros
It has been really effective in stopping cheating in my classes. It quickly scans student papers and checks them against a ton of published material which helps prevent cheating and keeps everything above board in terms of integrity.
Cons
I found that It struggles a bit with spotting paraphrased content. Even when AI is involved in writing, it doesn't always catch it. It's possible for well-changed wording to slip through, while straightforward plagiarism gets caught, which isn't ideal.

“Must-have for anyone checking plagiarism”
Pros
For our team, the best part about Turnitin is its powerful plagiarism detection. The huge database ensures that everything gets thoroughly checked for originality, which is super important for maintaining the quality of the content we publish. The interface is easy to use and it fits perfectly into our daily workflow. We pretty much use it every day to make sure all the content we put out is completely free from plagiarism.
Cons
Sometimes, documents stay stuck in the processing status for a while, which messes with our work timelines. When that happens, we have to restart the process and it can cause delays in the reviewed content. Also the user interface feels pretty outdated now.
