“Typesetting my own ebook is a fun task for me
Pros
I am really enjoying the process of typesetting my own ebook. With 113,000 words 600+ pages and limited design experience, I needed a clear and user friendly tool to avoid costly project expenses. Plus the learning curve was not quite a lot and customer support was clear and helpful when I ran into issues. Overall Typeset.com is the best.
Cons
In the start I thought it was a bit glitchy but it is actually very reliable. I just needed to understand how it was built. The time I invested in figuring it out was definitely worth it. However I think it could use a community forum and updated help articles but I am sure they are working on that.

“I gave it a shot, but it doesn't work for me right now
Pros
It is easy to use and edit. Plus I did not have any issues making it work the way I wanted.
Cons
There were features I did not need for my business right now so paying for this instead of using a free option did not seem practical at the moment.

“The customer service is amazing
Pros
I just bought Typeset so I cannot speak for everything I like yet. However I bought the basic version before I knew about the Pro version. I contacted support via email to see if I could get a refund for my first purchase since I had already upgraded to the Pro version. I expected to wait for days but within hours, Ash emailed me back canceled my first subscription and arranged a refund. It was refreshing to get such fast, personal service like no chatbots here. Also I have seen the product demo and I am excited to love it. Thanks Ash for showing that Typeset truly cares about its customers.
Cons
Well I have just purchased it so I do not have enough experience with it yet.

“Great templates and a huge time-saver!
Pros
Typeset is both easy to use and user friendly. I had to create a presentation for my denomination as I am an ordained minister and other tools just were not doinf it well for me. But with it I was able to make an amazing presentation and easily convert it into a PDF for those who wanted a physical copy for their files or personal use.
Cons
The learning curve is not too bad though I do wish it were easier to export my presentation into a document format. As sometimes I had to go back and adjust fonts that did not export properly.

“Works for some, but it's not for us
Pros
The customer service was excellent and very quick to respond when I reached out to them.
Cons
We tried it for a month to see if it would meet our agency's needs but in the end, we decided it was not the right fit. While the automatic setup from our website was a nice feature, we found managing the fonts to be a bit cumbersome. Also the templates felt restrictive which did not align with our creative requirements. However it might be a good fit for small businesses that do not have the budget for a creative agency and have the time to experiment.

Pros
I can quickly turn an outline of notes or a presentation into engaging visual content for my business. We use it often for our external sales pitches and it integrates smoothly into our tech stack for easy editing. This ensures consistent branding and professional-looking content. Plus the support team has been very helpful whenever we needed assistance.
Cons
While I can complete about 90% of your work in it, it is not always perfect which is why exporting to PowerPoint is so useful.
