I really appreciated the support from the V2 team during our workspace setup. Their customer support made the process fast and the cost was very reasonable compared to other options.

Setup was a bit complex for us but I couldn't find any other dislikes.

Website claims support for many software applications but they weren't able to resolve issues with my tax software or provide guidance on using Teams video for Zoom meetings on V2 desktop.

The flat-rate pricing without hidden fees for storage or bandwidth is a big plus.

Logging into another app to access my virtual machine is inconvenient, though it does serve as a sort of VPN proxy.

Before moving to V2 Cloud, we managed our own servers, which was a constant source of stress and maintenance. Since switching, we can focus more on our core business. The V2 Cloud team is prompt, reliable and effective, they even notify us proactively about any issues and usually fix them before we even notice.

Cons

Honestly, I can't think of any real drawbacks. We see V2 Cloud as an essential part of our operations and are very pleased with its performance. Sure, there have been minor hiccups, life isn't always perfect but those issues pale in comparison to the problems we had before switching.

“Very easy and helpful to use

Pros

The software feels so userfriendly that sometimes I forget I am not working on my own desktop. It integrates smoothly with my printer and download functions, making saving PDFs or printing checks from the V2 workspace effortless.

Cons

The only issues I have faced so far are with the download feature not playing well with Excel. When I try to download Excel files from V2, it doesn't always work smoothly, and I end up fiddling with the file type when saving. Also, the clipboard function doesn't sync between this and my local computer. It's not a huge problem but it would be really convenient to copy and paste an address from a local invoice directly into my accounting software on the V2 cloud.

“Loving it for more than 2 years

When I had questions or needed troubleshooting help, the support team was excellent. The user interface for managing sessions and file storage is very easy to use.

Cons

I have not seen any major problems, the software consistently works well for my clients.

Honestly there's nothing I can complain about and the software is complete and works great.

Pros

I found the software easy to customize according to our needs, and the implementation was remarkably quick and simple. This was a completely different experience compared to Microsoft Azure, where support was unavailable during the free trial and repeated implementation failures led me to switch to V2. Choosing it turned out to be a great decision, saving us both time and money.

Cons

I had some difficulty setting up Teams because remote VM access to local hardware was required. The support team was very helpful and now everything works fine.

Pros

The setup was fast and simple from the start. The system works well for our distributed business operations. On the rare occasion I encountered an issue with the remote desktop, I received immediate help through their website's chat feature. The support team responded within a minute and fixed the problem in under five minutes.

Cons

The restriction that only allows using O365 E3, E5 or Apps for Enterprise on Team Desktops is an important consideration for small businesses, especially those with existing O365 accounts tied to different license types. However this limitation comes from Microsoft and the way shared desktops operate on Windows Server so it's not something V2 Cloud can control. It's just how things are set up.

“Easy for small accounting firms to use

Pros

Ease of use was a big plus for us. We needed an application that would allow our clients to remotely access their accounting software and data while our staff could work on the same computer. Being a small business with only a few employees, most alternatives required minimum commitments and were over our budget. V2 Cloud helped us set up the exact machine we needed and even assisted with installing our accounting software.

Cons

Web browser connection doesn't support dual monitors, only the Windows app has that feature.
