flexible process search options

Pros

Using Whale makes exploring and locating processes feel engaging rather than tedious. There are several ways to track down what you need.. you can browse through the Department Board, go into categories and open individual cards, or simply search by keyword or even use the AI conversation feature.

Cons

One thing I'd still love to see is more guidance in the form of templates for organizing processes. It would be really helpful to choose a process or SOP structure that closely matches your type of business so you could get a better sense of how other companies in your industry are setting things up.

interactive guides that shine

Pros

Building engaging process documentation with Whale feels incredibly simple. It lets you bring together images, videos, text and even GIFs to create interactive step-by-step guides that are actually useful. The platform is user-friendly enough that process owners can make updates themselves without needing a designer or technical expert involved. On top of that, updates are fast to make and don't come with a lot of unnecessary bureaucracy.

Cons

A flowchart feature for visualizing more complex procedures would be good.

onboarding and training done right

Pros

Working in digital marketing means juggling a lot of moving parts so having everything organized matters a lot. Whale has really helped simplify onboarding for new employees and makes sure everyone gets the same consistent information. I also appreciate being able to create and share content, assign tasks and use quizzes to keep the team up to date on what's happening in our environment. On top of that, it's very user-friendly.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any real complaints. Whale clearly takes customer feedback seriously and anytime I've had a question, their customer care team has been there to help with exactly what I needed.

Platform that delivers

Pros

It does a really good job of connecting training and knowledge to the different employee profiles. The platform feels simple and user-friendly and it performs better than other onboarding or training tools I've used.

Cons

It still isn't fully customizable yet since things like brand colors or the logo can't be changed at the moment.
