“Asite with foresight
Pros
Asite is quite handy, easy to pick up, and simple to program. The support teams are top-notch, and the company is well ahead of its competitors. It's recognized as a premier software provider in the industry.
Cons
The contractor pre-qualification was somewhat inadequate; focusing on e-procurement would definitely be advantageous.

“Cloud-based collaboration platform
Pros
With its SaaS cloud-based system, Asite lets me manage BIM project portfolios, build custom applications, and create my own workflows. It also supports remote work and syncing across different stations and integrates various formats like HTML and PDF.
Cons
Gaining access to the most advanced features requires an additional financial investment for the premium version.

“All right if you are a contractor using it daily, but good help you if you are a supplier!
Pros
There's nothing good about it. It's extremely challenging to use as a supplier. We receive inquiries from many platforms, and this one is the worst, to the point where our security system started blocking emails from it.
Cons
Everything is quite difficult to use and assumes that as a supplier, I have a compatible working method. I can see the benefits if used daily as a contractor, but as a supplier, it's like navigating a minefield!

“DDG Review 2022
Pros
It's pretty easy to learn and use, sets up commenting periods and tracks them. I can create distribution groups to simplify handling large documents.
Cons
Some functions work better in classic view, while others are better in Adoddle view. It's unfortunate that these two are not better synced and that I have to switch between them frequently. The lack of a basket option in Adoddle view means I always need to use classic view for compiling information from various folders or for exporting reports. It would also be useful if deleting documents from the system was easier rather than having to move them to an obsolete folder or make them inactive. It's frustrating that I can't change incorrect user reference numbers in application forms like RFI's and NCR's, especially when Asite support isn't helpful or charges a fee for assistance.

“ASITE Review
Pros
File capacity, storage, metadata, version control, BS Standard, and good project management protocols. Ensures NEC Contract Compliance and timely file submissions to clients. Maintains version protocols and file structure creation. No capacity for BIM modeling submissions.

“Construction Management
Pros
The ability to track views and downloads and ensure compliance is useful.
Cons
The process of selecting folders is quite uneven and cumbersome. Navigating through the available options can be challenging and inefficient, making it difficult to find the folders I need quickly. “Asite Document Server

“Fantastic file sharing project software - perfect for collaboration
Pros
Asite has been my go-to project software for years. It's easy to navigate and very seasy for raising RFIs and creating document submissions.
Cons
My only criticism is that when the user interface switched from classic to Adoddle a few years ago, the front-end dashboard feels a bit cluttered.

“It really is "A doddle"
Pros
Asite is very easy and quick once you know how. It's similar to attaching a file to an email, but since it's a cloud system, you aren't limited by file size for uploads and distribution.
Cons
Some of the functions are not very intuitive. I say this because the training course is essentially a self-help guide, but once I get the hang of it, it's simple.

“Managing construction projects has never been easier
Pros
Adoddle is a comprehensive tool that streamlines collaboration on construction projects with all teams via a well-designed cloud platform. Documents and submittals can be shared with team members from any device, saving the hassle of sending multiple emails. Distribution of information to internal and external stakeholders is ssimple, and access is impressive. It integrates with platforms like CAD, making review easy. Uploading and downloading data is also simple, and with some training, it's a very useful software.
Cons
The software is challenging to use, but with training, I can use it effectively and access all its features. The workflow could be simplified with a more user-friendly interface.

“Adoddle Review

“Major upgrade to the old system
Pros
The user interface has improved significantly. It has powerful filtering, excellent control over distribution and editing privileges, a new dashboard, and workflow tasks that make it easy to spot new items needing attention.
Cons
The search functionality is frankly terrible. I need to be familiar with the project's structure to have a good chance of finding the right document. The site experiences regular downtime for updates, which could be streamlined into fewer releases. At least the updates usually happen late at night.

“A Review of Adoddle.
Pros
Asite Adoddle is great because its cloud-based project management helps address issues with employee communication, documentation management, cost analysis of projects, portfolio analysis, and supply chain updates. Bottlenecks are minimized, and Adoddle provides efficiency across various construction segments, from home builders to skyscraper projects.
Cons
Adoddle could use an update because it relies on user input for the end location rather than performing a detailed search. However, Asite staff are helpful and available if issues arise.

“Clunky and non intuitive
Pros
Easy login and fairly good markup tools. The ability to set up dialogues within the app and track changes is beneficial.
Cons
The search facility is very poor and relies too much on me directing it to the location. The front end is quite unhelpful and doesn't easily show all project tasks that are outstanding. Classic view is much better, but administrators and the company seem to push the Adoddle interface since it defaults to this on login. The drawing comparison tools aren't as smooth as other packages, and the markup tools' dialogue isn't very versatile. Running discussions on drawings can be frustrating as it doesn't have a natural conversation flow due to the difficulty of viewing all comments and responses simultaneously. After using it on and off for the last nine years, it never seems to get any easier compared to other software tools.

“A shockingly bad user experience. Too complex, too cluttered, no guidance
Pros
I'm shutting it down. I don't like anything about it and never look forward to dealing with Adoddle or Asite, no matter what it's called this week.
Cons
The system is convoluted, and nothing seems to work well. There are too many acronyms, no screen tips, and no simple view. I find it incredibly frustrating. It takes too long to perform tasks that should be quick. It feels like a hurdle I have to overcome, and it's far less efficient than the old methods. Even the front page is annoying. If I never had to use it again, I'd be thrilled. I'm not a Luddite; I'm quite comfortable with database systems, but this front end is truly dreadful.

“Hamstrung, repetitive, slow, backward
Pros
There's not much positive to say. I can't think of any feature that stands out as better than what competitors offer.
Cons
The folder-based paradigm for uploads is problematic. The UI/UX is inconsistent, bloated, and not focused on the critical path more style over function.
