“Streamlining Project Management with BIM Track”
Pros
I appreciate how BIM Track enhances project visualization by letting me create 3D models of the project, which I can view and interact with in virtual reality. This feature helps me and my team better visualize and understand the project, improving our decision-making and reducing the risk of mistakes. The tool also boosts efficiency and productivity by automating many tasks that would otherwise be done manually, like generating reports and tracking progress, streamlining the project management process.
Cons
Setting up BIM Track involved an initial investment in hardware and software, plus training for our team. This upfront cost was quite significant for us.

“Track your issue with BIM track”
Pros
I can track our coordination issues live with the Navisworks file thanks to its integration. I can raise issues using this software and also update any coordination issues to our clients and between teams.
Cons
I think the software's charges are a bit steep, and it would be better if it were always included with Navisworks. Ideally, these charges shouldn't be extra and should be provided for free with Navisworks.

“A low-cost method of detecting and resolving system interference in construction projects”
Pros
BIM Track brings BIM theories and ideas into practice, helping me identify flaws and deficiencies in various systems or architectural projects before or during implementation. This helps prevent repetitive work and reduces project downtime.
Cons
There's nothing unwanted in BIM Track. It's easy to use, and the mobile app is really handy for solving issues right on site.

“Best applications to prevent interference between different systems before &during construction work”
Pros
BIM Track is among the best intuitive applications for applying BIM concepts, especially for detecting interferences between different systems, like MEP systems with finishes, and resolving them before implementation starts. Its support in tracking these interferences and any issues that arise during implementation makes it a key resource for handling requests for information from subcontractors. I also appreciate how it communicates via mobile, allowing me to address issues directly on-site without the need to return to the office for meetings.
Cons
Nothing stands out negatively. All functions work as expected. BIM Track integrates with many auxiliary applications, making it more effective. The ease of downloading and sharing plans with the team really helps with project participation and timely implementation of solutions.

“BIM Track Review”
Pros
Its interface is really user-friendly. I love its tracking features, as I can easily monitor and address issues.
Cons
Improvements are needed for exporting clash reports and naming headers. I've had to create various reports with specific naming formats, but the platform only lets me do so by editing the project name. Also, clashes exported from Navisworks don't display correctly when using the View in Model function.

“One of the best BIM collaboration tool in the market”
Pros
Although I'm new to construction, I have extensive experience in design, and using BIM Track has been a no-brainer. It fosters collaboration among a diverse team and is simple to use, ensuring that everyone is accountable for their assigned issues.
Cons
Mobilizing this technology in the field has been challenging. The 3D viewer isn't as efficient as some leading tools. Our workflow as a GC relies on various file formats from subcontractors, not just IFC.

“Good tools for reasonable cost”
Pros
The price is reasonable for the subscription. It allows me to track issues across multiple software platforms. Managers and Superintendents can access information online while VDC focuses on tools like Revit and Navisworks, making it flexible to collaborate and illustrate issues in projects.
Cons
The Revit documentation process feels clunky. The BIM Track UI needs better two-way interaction between Revit work and BIM Track issues. I often find updates happening in the wrong item selected in the UI.

“My review”
Pros
This software is very helpful for coordinating various aspects of a design project. I like the option to take screenshots, mark them, and the ability to post messages and generate issue reports.
Cons
The viewer is still quite basic and not very intuitive. Uploading IFC files takes a lot of time, and the automated upload feature doesn't work well.

“Simpifies the Process”
Pros
Integrating the software into our projects was quite seamless. The initial four training videos were immensely helpful for both myself and my team, laying a strong groundwork. After we became acquainted with the basics, the "End User" training proved to be highly advantageous, offering detailed and practical insights. These sessions significantly improved our proficiency with the software. The tools and functionalities I've learned have made our coordination process much more efficient. They facilitate everything from task grouping and issuing to detecting and analyzing collisions in either the native software or Navisworks, streamlining our overall workflow.
Cons
For grouping clashes, it would be helpful to keep the grouping mode choices active as long as the window is open instead of resetting to None when selecting the next clash test. It would also be nice to have an icon indicating if a clash test has already been grouped. Additionally, the 100-view limit on clash groups should be reconsidered. An option to auto-group viewpoints beyond 100 would be very useful. Syncing clash status both ways between Navisworks and BIM Track would streamline the process significantly.

“Bim track in brazil”
Pros
BIM Track was a powerful tool when we were just starting our business. It proved invaluable for storing and managing issues from our customers' projects.
Cons
However, the renewal price after a year was too high for our market. Consequently, we canceled our subscription.

“Bim Track and LTB”
Pros
The ability to quickly disseminate information and keep track of every task with just a few clicks is a major advantage. I really liked that I could set up programmed uploads from Revit. Overall, it's very easy to use and allows for extensive customization.
Cons
It would be easier to use with teams from different companies if each company could buy individual licenses and access our Hub setup. For example, if my company has 50 users, I'd buy 50 licenses, and if a project needs 1000 users, each company could join according to their needs. Not a con, but a suggestion: It would be great to import Point Cloud files to mark up and address issues like drawings or models, and integration with Autodesk BIM 360 would be beneficial.

“BIM Track Review”
Pros
Viewing issues in the model is very useful. I appreciate being able to jump to an issue with the Navisworks plugin.

“Effective and very needed application but too pricey.”
Pros
It focuses simply on creating and managing issues with no other distractions, workflows, or features.
Cons
The price is far too high for small firms like ours. We manage many small projects and need to communicate with numerous people. The current pricing structure doesn't accommodate this well.
