“Perfect Human Capital/Resource Planning tool for a mid to large size General Contractor”
Pros
This software focuses on short and long-term planning for project teams. Unlike most resource tools, it's not centered on timecards or hourly planning. It helps with long-term planning and determining future hiring needs or potential talent surpluses. It's very intuitive, and you'll quickly replace spreadsheets for this task. It's also customizable, so depending on your company's needs, you can add and track the information most useful to you and your organization.
Cons
I really have no complaints. Bridgit Bench has been adding features and reports that address initial shortcomings. It's cloud-based, which is ideal, though there are occasional glitches that are short-lived.

“WAY Better than Spreadsheets”
Pros
It's simple to set up and use. It's easy to teach others how to use it. It gives our entire team a view of project staffing in both a list and a Gantt view.
Cons
We still need a way to plug multiple possibilities into one role during preliminary staffing. Without this, we keep an additional spreadsheet to track potential candidates for each role.

“Bridgit Bench - Best Tool in the Technology Tool Box.”
Pros
The product is very intuitive. I love being able to view projects as both a list and a Gantt chart and delve into project details by clicking on the project name from any view. Seeing the dates of each project phase by hovering over the Gantt bar is a huge benefit because I can switch from project to project without leaving the Gantt view.
Cons
I appreciate that we can identify each project phase by date and that new phases automatically follow the last one. However, editing phases when there are many is tedious. It would save a lot of time if editing one phase date adjusted all subsequent phases or if we could drag phase dates on the Gantt chart.

“Bridgit Bench Review”
Pros
I appreciate the software's simplicity. We were able to start using it right away without extensive training or figuring out our way around the site.
Cons
I wish there were more permission groups. It would be helpful for people to only see projects they are assigned to. We need feedback from project managers on timelines but don't want them to have access to all projects.
