“Simple and clear to use

Pros

I mostly use it for SWMS and project check-ins to make sure safety always comes first on site. It's pretty easy to work with and helps bring all the safety stuff into one app, which makes everything feel more smooth.

Cons

The hardest part for me has been getting other trades to actually follow the protocols on site. Once they're on board it works fine, but that part can be tricky. I'm also sure there are plenty of other great features in the app that we're not even using yet but probably should be.

“Feels natural to work with

Pros

At my old company, we had to use two different systems just to get things done, one for sign-ins (1Breadcrumb) and another for site diaries (Procore). With BuildPass, it's all together in one place which is way more convenient.

Cons

I really think albums should be added. Sometimes at the end of a job I find myself scrolling way back through the gallery just to check how certain services were run through plaster. It would be so much easier if I had an album labeled "rough ins" that I could quickly tap into instead of digging through everything.

“Buildpass makes site admin simple

Pros

What I like is that it gets the subcontractors to handle most of the work themselves instead of putting it all on the Site Manager. It definitely lightens the load.

Cons

No cons I like that it keeps all my daily documents together in one place. I don't have to waste time chasing files around.

“All in one solution

Pros

The different tools and features make day-to-day site life a lot easier. I can stay on top of what's going on without losing track of important things.

Cons

The only thing that bothers me is there's no auto-correct in the app. Other than that, I honestly love using it.

“Foolproof and Easy to use

Tbh it just makes my day easier in so many ways. I don't have to stress about small stuff because the system takes care of it for me.

Cons

I don't have any complaints. Their customer support is excellent and the app really ticks every box for me.

“Overall good software

Pros

I like that the software can be personalized to fit our business. That makes it practical whether it's a big project or even smaller ones and it integrates nicely either way.

Cons

One downside is not having geotagging available until later in the year. It would be super useful to have it already but at least I know it's coming.

“Smooth integrations

Pros

It's really easy to use for the company and each job site stays separate, which keeps things organized. Once all the subcontractors are in the system, we can manage their documents and sign-ins all in one app without jumping between different platforms.

Cons

Setting it up does take a time and subcontractors have to create a login since it's a new app for them. Some of them aren't used to working with systems like this, so it can be a bit of an adjustment.

“Very user friendly system

Pros

Super helpful to generate and roll out SWMS quickly. Plus, being able to track and manage all the safety documents in one spot makes my life way simpler.

Cons

Back when we first started, the onboarding process took quite a while. The good thing is they've made improvements since then and now it's a lot smoother.
