“Simple way to handle budgets and job costs”
Pros
For me this tool is very reliable when it comes to cloud job costing. It covers everything from budgeting, billing and invoicing to planning and organizing. I like that all these tools are put together in one place which makes managing projects much easier for me.
Cons
No cons. It really makes things simple for me by breaking everything down into smaller, manageable parts. It takes away a lot of the stress and keeps the process organized in a way that feels easy to handle.

“Good reports but system feels slow”
Pros
It's awesome for tracking capital projects. What I really love is that it gives us a shared platform for ownership, property management, construction and project management to all stay connected. The reporting customization is almost endless and I can create so many types of reports that are easy to read. That flexibility makes a big difference for me.
Cons
It runs pretty slow sometimes and that really frustrates me. Another thing I don't like is that it only lets me assign one vendor per cost item. For example, if I want to add two architects under the same cost section, I can't. That limitation makes it harder for me to manage certain projects the way I'd like.

“Saves time from start to end of a project”
Pros
The bidding and tendering process is such a time saver. Once I have my templates ready, I can get everything done with just a click. Analyzing bids is also super simple, whether I'm looking at all bidders or just a few, no more messy spreadsheets. I like that all documents stay in one spot where the whole team can see them. I don't waste time digging through emails for that one missing message. Customer support is excellent and I can chat with them almost anytime. A lot of my contractors find the system really easy, while a few still struggle but that's on them. I also like that I can see the cost per square foot easily during bid evaluation which helps me a lot when leasing teams ask for budget prices. Setting up intuitive reports, managing milestones, and tracking schedules is all simple too.
Cons
I've noticed it feels slower now than before. I used to be able to edit anything but now it seems I can only edit what I personally put in. I really wish I could use it from my iPad or phone to work remotely. I'd also like to have more control over the levels of access and permissions. Another feature I'd love is being able to set up a few master team lists and just click to add them to a project. Right now, I have to add every team member individually which takes way too much time.

“Simple and easy operation”
Pros
What stood out for me right away was how easy the program is to use and how well it's laid out. Even though I was new to it, I quickly understood how the whole program works. For both me and my company, one of the best parts is that we can share our feedback and ideas on how the program could be improved. They actually listen and make changes, which shows they care about the users. That really makes me value the software even more.
Cons
There really aren't many things I don't like about this program. I get that it's still fairly new, and things like this take time to perfect. Overall, I can see it getting better and better as updates come in.

“Really good for keeping budgets in check”
Pros
The thing I appreciate most is being able to handle all project budget costs in one portal. I also like having the option to communicate directly with vendors through the built-in messaging system. Customer support has been quick and effective every time I've reached out. What I value most though, is that they really listens to their clients and keeps improving the platform based on our suggestions.
Cons
One of the things that bothers me is the lack of different user levels. Right now, it's either full access or very limited access, with nothing in between. The limited access doesn't always work for certain users, so it would be ideal to have an access menu where I can assign roles based on each person's responsibilities. Also, sometimes the system feels a little slow when switching between windows which slows me down.

“Smooth software with responsive support”
Pros
It'sso interactive that I was able to jump right in after just a little bit of training. Honest Buildings made it easy to get started and I didn't feel overwhelmed learning it.
Cons
I wish there was a way to enter tenant improvement allowances so I could keep track of the tenant's contribution when the budget goes over the allowance. Not having that feature makes it harder to manage the financial side of those projects properly.

“No-fuss and easy”
Pros
This software feels very smooth overall and I love the custom reporting options. I can adjust reports exactly the way I need them which saves me time and makes the system even more valuable for my work.
Cons
I've noticed that some projects process items faster than others. The smaller ones move smoothly but the larger the project gets, the slower everything seems to process. It can be frustrating when I'm working on something big and the system can't keep up at the same pace.

“Maximizes my time efficiency”
Pros
Some of the features I enjoy the most are how easy the system is to use for me and our vendors. Even when we do have questions, the chat function works so well for both sides. I'm happy that our vendors hardly run into issues with the software. Another feature I like is the bidding process and it only takes a few clicks to send all the details to a list of vendors. Reviewing and awarding bids is simple, and the system even sends out automatic emails to vendors who didn't get selected. The invoicing and change order features are also easy to manage, which makes the whole process smooth.
Cons
When we first started using the software, we had to come up with work-arounds for situations the software wasn't built for. The good thing is that the team actually listened to us and worked on solutions to meet our needs. We still have a small list of requests but they're already working on those, and I know they'll have resolutions soon. Security and user permissions used to be an issue for us too but they've already fixed a big part of that.

“Top bidding software out there”
Pros
I really like how simple the bidding and tracking features are. My general contractors didn't struggle at all to get used to it. The online support is honestly better than any other software I've used and they respond almost instantly, usually within minutes. That level of support gives me a lot of confidence.
Cons
Honestly my only regret is that it took us so long to start using this software. If I added up all the hours I've wasted over the years sending, qualifying and awarding bids without it, I'd probably feel sick. This software has saved me so much time, I just wish we'd found it sooner.
