“Affordable tool but support needs improvement
Pros
The cost is really easy to control and manage. I can easily track and report it without any issues.
Cons
The communication tool is tough to manage and takes up a lot of time. We've provided plenty of feedback on how it can be improved but nothing has been done about it. Other software seems to handle communication way better.

“Easy to Navigate, Easier to Manage
Pros
I found that tracking and reporting are simple to use across different areas of the system, which makes everything much easier to manage.
Cons
There's a lot of information, maybe more than necessary but it's really handy when you actually need it.

“Cloud Software That Keeps Our Group in Sync
Pros
I found it to be quite simple and training new staff on how to use it is not hard. The support team based in New Zealand is really helpful, not just for our team but also for assisting our supply chain with CATPlan. Combining document control, tendering, communications, project management, purchase orders, subcontractor payments and more in one place has helped us save time and effort. Before using CAT, we were juggling multiple providers. It's also much better value for money than other systems we considered.
Cons
The only downside is that when tender invites are sent out through CATPlan, there's no confirmation to make sure the email address is correct. But by checking the activity log, it's easy to see if the subcontractor has accessed the documents.

“Great platform for project management
Pros
This software is very effective for project management. The customer support is amazing and it's really easy to generate reports for all areas of the projects.
Cons
Things are going well but it would be nice to have the option to send customer interests to multiple recipients and download them too.

It is great for project management. It has so many useful features that really help manage projects successfully.
Cons
This tool should let us forward incoming CI's CAN's to more than one person from a subcontractor company. Otherwise, it's just a waste of time!

The modules are easy to use. It's compliant with NZ H&S, contracts, and IRD. The support is quick and there's a really good community vibe around it.
Cons
No complaints. This construction software is always improving and really listens to feedback from the community.
