“HH2 helps us use time well
Pros
I've noticed a big difference since we started using hh2. It really cut down on human error, saved us a bunch of time and no more chasing down lost paper time sheets. It runs a lot smoother now.
Cons
We've got a few people with flip phones or who just aren't into technology and they either can't or just won't use HH2. It's not really the software's fault, more of a people issue but still something we deal with.

“Best pick for online payroll tracking
Pros
Honestly, it's super easy to use, for both our back office and field teams. It connects really well with Sage 300 CRE which we already use and being cloud-based means I can log in from wherever I'm at. That's been a huge plus.
Cons
The time approval process can get a little confusing, both for folks in the field and those on the backend. I really think it would help if the system gave users more info about what exactly they need to approve. Some reminder emails about unapproved time and notifications as time moves through the workflow would make a big difference.

What I really liked about this tool is how convenient it is for clocking in and out. It was simple to show people how to use it and training new employees on it was easy.
Cons
What I liked least about it is that sometimes it would just stop working and we kept having to reset passwords.

“User-friendly, but technical support isn't as smooth as before

It is user-friendly and makes things a lot easier for our accounting team. I didn't need a bunch of training to figure it out.
Cons
The new way they handle technical support isn't as simple as it used to be. I find it hard to get the help I need now.

“Once you learn the basics, it's easy to use
Pros
Once you get the basics down, it's pretty simple. Took me about a week to really get the hang of entering job info, just because our industry is a bit complex. But overall it's not hard to use.
Cons
Every now and then it glitches like when you try to punch out and it just keeps loading and never actually clocks you out. That kind of stuff gets frustrating.

It's really easy to get up and running. I had no trouble setting it up and their customer support has been awesome anytime I needed help.

“Easy to pick up & connects with Sage
Pros
The Sage integration was a game changer for us. We used to rely on Excel timesheets and switching to hh2 Remote Payroll has saved us from doing double data entry and cut down on mistakes. Once folks get used to it, it's pretty easy to use even for our field guys who aren't tech savvy. They've managed to learn how to log their hours using the app. I also like that admins can reset passwords which comes in handy when someone forgets theirs or gets a new phone. A lot of our crew don't check email regularly, so password reset links can be tricky. Being able to create different payroll groups with different approval rules has also been very helpful especially since we need things like certified payroll info for some jobs but not others.
Cons
There's more downtime than I'd like and the app does get glitchy pretty often. We run into issues where someone has to force a full sync just to get it working again which slows things down.

Pros
Integration with Sage 300 CRE has worked really well for us. Timekeeping out in the field has improved a lot and we don't have to waste time entering the same info twice anymore.
Cons
Getting it set up was a little tricky, just like with any other new software but I'd say HH2 was still on the easier side compared to others I've used.

“Clocking in is easy but some tech issues need fixing
Pros
At first glance, clocking in and out felt easy. The buttons are nice and big, easy to read and the app is simple to move around in. Everything's laid out in a way that makes sense.
Cons
Sometimes, my clock-in or clock-out time doesn't get recorded properly and someone has to go in and fix it manually. We also had an issue with the camera function not working on our iPad which meant no one could punch in or out but I've got to say, customer service was awesome and helped us get it fixed pretty quickly.
