Pros

Holobuilder offers intriguing features, is simple to navigate, and can showcase 360-degree photos.

Cons

I'm not sure what the fix is yet, but I often have to shut down and reconnect when I'm in areas with poor signal.

Great way to Capture a Jobsite

Pros

By using the actual print of the building, I find it easy to place markers where the 360-degree photos are taken and store them. Also, comparing previous images side by side is really handy.

Cons

I've struggled with getting the speed mode to work. It does work, but I found that I can get better results by doing it manually, and faster.

Excellent Construction Documentation Solution

Pros

I really like how easy it is to use and it definitely adds great value to my projects.

Cons

I can't really think of anything I dislike. Every piece of software has room for improvement. The only issue I've had is getting Navisworks to work properly with it but I think that's just because I'm new to the integration process and probably making some rookie mistakes. I'm sure it'll get easier as I keep using it.

Review of Holobuilder

Pros

It's simple and intuitive to use. I can quickly capture the job site and then upload it to the cloud. The post-processing back at the office is minimal.

Cons

The layout and colors on the editing side of the software are functional, but finding all the features quickly can be challenging.

A good program at a good time.

Pros

I've been using this software for a year, and it's fantastic. It offers many features for both the office and on-site work. Sharing with other users is also very smooth. Customer service is prompt and helpful.

Cons

The pricing could be improved. This software is still new and has very few bugs.

Very impressive!

Pros

Surprisingly easy to use with very cool results. I especially like how effortlessly I could show it to a client, even if they're not tech-savvy.

Cons

It's quite buggy. Support was very helpful in resolving some of the issues, and we got back on track quickly. Other than that, I don't really have any complaints.

Amazing software that allows you to view the project without walking it.

Pros

I've seen my bosses now showcase the project we're working on with HoloBuilder, creating virtual tours easily and quickly using 360-degree photos.

Cons

I find the software easy and practical to use for viewing, and I didn't encounter any issues while using it.

I have found Holobuilder offers the best user interface and tour functionality among competitors.

Pros

The user experience, sheet setup, importing functionality, and tour navigation are excellent. Both our internal teams building tours and external users of the finished product find the tour easy to operate and derive value from it. Customer support has been outstanding , working with the team at Holobuilder has been a pleasure!

Cons

Further automation is great for generating tours quickly, especially for tours with large floor plans (many photos) and multiple levels. However, the Time Travel' feature is not always effective, as placing the camera in exactly the same spot isn't always possible.

Holobuilder is an amazing program for those who want to cut out the use of site walks on the project

Pros

The simplicity of integrating 360-degree pictures is by far one of the best out there. Being able to plot the pictures on a drawing helps pinpoint exactly where each picture was taken.

Cons

What I like least about this program is the amount of effort required to set up all the sheets and locations of pictures. It's also tricky to get the exact same result in the next picture unless you mark exactly where you took the previous 360-degree shot.

Quick, Reliable and Friendly

Pros

The ease of use and the ability to share with clients who don't use the software is great. I love the split-screen feature for viewing photos taken at different times (progress photos).

Cons

As a new Holobuilder user, I haven't encountered many negatives. Everything I've needed to do so far has been easy. I don't use the objects much; their movement and placement can be a bit confusing.

Great software, allows for quick and thorough documentation of large areas and multiple zones.

Pros

My favorite feature is how easy it is to use. I mounted our 360-degree camera on a spare hard hat and can document our site in about an hour. Previous software required much more time and didn't provide the detail that HB and a 360-degree camera do. It's as simple as reading a drawing on an iPad or phone and tapping the screen.

Cons

If I had any complaints about the software, it would be that being in a remote location (like a basement or parking garage) often disconnects the camera from the program. I'm not sure what the solution is yet, but I frequently need to shut down and reconnect when I'm in areas with weak signals.

Easy to use, well designed, and exceptional customer service

Pros

The best customer service I've ever received. The customer service team is friendly, quick to respond, and helpful.

Cons

There are a few bugs when using Holobuilder on the iPad. It seems better suited for smaller projects. For large projects with multiple buildings, floors, and sheets that apply to one area, importing many sheets can be overwhelming for stakeholders who need a quick snapshot of the project's progress.

We use holobuilder as the core of our business offering. It is very well designed and intuitive

Pros

The easiest 360-degree capture program we've come across. It's simple to teach the product to clients and our own employees, with great customer service and a feature-enhancing team. It has a robust set of features, works online, and is easy to share.

Cons

Some features are still working out bugs. The downloadable version has many glitches, especially with add-in features like displaying text, warnings, or adding PDFs or PNGs. Currently, the online tool is the only option for building VR walkthroughs, which presents a security risk for many clients, and there's no option yet for an offline creation tool.
