all-in-one job tracking anywhere

Pros

Job-Dox lets me keep my clients updated all the time. I can manage everything in one place, from finances and ongoing updates to photos, projects and employee timesheets. One of the biggest benefits for me is being able to work from almost any job site. Because of that, I save time by uploading and tracking receipts immediately.

Cons

I really don't think I should have to submit a support request just to change business processes. Now that I know exactly what I want, I'd prefer to make those adjustments on my own. It would also help to have a search function whenever customer data is on screen especially when trying to find a certain amount, a specific email or a particular contact.

Scope tool is a standout!

Pros

Document sharing and signature requests work really well and the Project Summary tool is also very useful. My favorite feature is the Scope tool because it helps a lot when I'm putting together quotes.

Cons

Photo management has been a weak spot for me. Uploading images can be finicky and pulling them back out in large batches is difficult. On top of that, the photos tend to come back in lower quality than I'd like. Equipment tracking also feels limited since it really only works well for water loss projects. I understand that's what it was built around but it would be nice to have a more general equipment tracking option for our asbestos and mold jobs as well.

mobile job tracking powerhouse

Pros

Keeping customers updated every day is much simpler with Job-Dox. It gives me one place to manage budgets, daily progress updates, photos, task lists and employee time without having to jump between different tools. The biggest benefit for me is the mobility since I can check information and enter data from wherever I am. I'm also able to upload costs and track receipts right away which cuts down a lot on the paperwork I'd otherwise have to deal with. Even when I'm working in an area with weak service, the app still lets me enter the same information and saves it until I'm back somewhere with a stronger connection.

Cons

Honestly I don't really have any complaints about this software. Whenever I ran into a problem, I could call the Job-Dox team and they would take care of it right away. There were even times when I contacted them and learned the issue wasn't with the software at all but with my device instead.

all job docs in one place :)

Pros

Being able to create and share documents with anyone without digging through project-related items has been a big plus. Having all the documents and photos organized for each job makes everything much more convenient. I can also send customers requests for social media reviews and that has helped more people find our business when they search for a company.

Cons

The photo feature is really useful for tracking projects and sharing updates with outside parties and customers. It would be even better if videos were supported too since that would show progress more clearly and give a fuller view of the project.

Flexible automation and responsive team

Pros

The automation tools for the business side can be tailored to fit the way I work which has been a big plus. On top of that, the development team has been very approachable and willing to collaborate and they've actually put many of my suggestions into place.

Cons

I'd still want is more direct control over customizing business processes without having to open a support ticket each time. Since I usually know exactly what changes I need, I'd be happy to handle those adjustments myself.

all-in-one visibility and automation

Pros

Across customers, insurance agents and employees, this works really well as a communication and data platform. It gives you access to your financial information anytime and from anywhere which is a big advantage. The automated tasks, meeting tools, drying module and vendor module are all valuable features and definite pluses.

Cons

I wish to see is a stronger search feature. For example it would be helpful to search the entire system for a specific amount, email, contact or customer detail when only part of the information is remembered.
