Disappointing User Experience

Pros

I think the presentation of their homepage and advertising feels like a lot of empty marketing talk without much real value behind it.

Cons

What you actually get to properly implement feels almost laughable considering the expectations and it left me feeling a bit underwhelmed.

Easy RFI Tracking

Pros

Tendering is simpler for me now and I also like how RFIs are tracked more easily while document distribution is much smoother.

Cons

I think there isn't any dedicated photo album tool and at times the platform lags a bit when handling large files, which can slow down work.

User-Friendly Platform

Pros

The centralized system feels very user friendly to me and saves a lot of time once I've added regular contacts and company templates.

Cons

What I noticed that subcontractors really need training on how to use the system to submit their quotes, though Tenderfield does provide good support in this area.

Perfect for our company

Pros

All of my projects are stored in one program which I really value because nothing is scattered across my PC. I can see who is quoting, track document openings and even check intentions to quote which has been a huge time saver.

Cons

Getting other parties to consistently use it is tough, which is an industry wide issue and while I appreciate that it's free for third-party users, the cost for extra partners feels high. I'd also like a feature that lets us give an appraisal or evaluation of the project after completion.

Professional Company Image

Pros

I like how professional this system makes my company appear and my regular subcontractors often comment on how easy it is to use. The dashboard in the admin portal is exactly what I need to keep all important project details in one place.

Cons

I feel this tool is only as effective as how well subcontractors adopt it, because if they don't, it creates more admin work on our side. Pricing also adds up quickly with multiple users, so a cheaper package for smaller teams would help.

Gem of a Tool

Pros

It's easy, simple and it works exactly as expected. In the first weeks, I cleaned up my contact list and imported everything which highlighted how inefficient we were with bidding before. I can now invite dozens of subcontractors in a couple of hours, track bids and feel in control. Subcontractors appreciate that they don't need accounts or passwords, just easy access. The price is fair for the scale of work we do and customer support connects me with a real person who genuinely wants me to succeed.

Cons

It was actually difficult to discover this software and while it still has some clunky quirks, I can see the commitment to continuous improvement. The bid management platform is strong, though the transition to a final cost summary isn't as smooth as it should be.

Great fit for company

Pros

The cost works well for our organization and associates working with us can access projects easily without extra expenses or multiple accounts. The document management module generates lists or transmittals instantly which saves time and the support team is excellent.

Cons

Not being able to create multiple subfolders under one main folder took time to get used to and limited how I wanted to organize things.

Great construction tool

Pros

The clean backend and overall ease of use make project collaboration simple for us, while the flat pricing model with no hidden charges makes it even more appealing compared to others.

Cons

There's no takeoff functionality yet and an integration with Bluebeam would make it far more effective for us to do detailed workflows.

Pefrect for project management

Pros

Tenderfield has been a complete project management solution with far more features than other packages I reviewed. From RFIs and defect notices to punch lists and audits, it covers everything and continues to expand. External users can view and respond without us having to pay extra which is a major advantage. Customer support, including direct interaction with the co-founder, has been outstanding, making me confident in recommending it.

Cons

I think some small things could improve, like having badge notifications directly on the dashboard and a cleaner layout, though these aren't deal breakers since email alerts already exist.

Easiest platform in construction

Pros

It was designed with real industry input, so it fits naturally into project management practices. Being a registered AIPM Project Manager, I can see how it reduces the need for multiple managers while providing strong file and document control.

Cons

It's frustrating that the platform isn't an industry standard yet, because it would be much easier if everyone used it. I'd also love to see more design focused features since it mainly caters to construction right now.

Simple and user friendly tool

Pros

The tendering and document control features save me hours, the meeting minute function adds even more value and the service support stands out as the best I've come across.

Cons

I noticed some limitations with adding or removing contacts that were created by my company but I understand this feature is already being improved.
