good for bulk conversions

Pros

I often need to convert a lot of PDF accounting statements into tables and it helps me do this so quickly and in bulk. It's a real time-saver and I don't have to deal with the hassle of doing it all manually anymore.

Cons

It's not great at reading lines that divide the paper which can be frustrating sometimes.

Perfect for multiple languages

Pros

It's amazing at handling multiple languages and can convert scans into readable and editable text with no problem. It's perfect for when I am dealing with documents in different languages and I don't have to worry about accuracy.

Cons

smart scanning functions could be better,I still have to manually tweak every scanned page. Plus, the navigation is not very interactive for me.

saved so much time converting scripts

Pros

one of the things I love most about it is how easily it converted a script into a special software I use called Final Draft. It saved me so much time and effort and the process was so smooth. I didn't have to manually input anything and that's a huge bonus.

Cons

its very very easy to use and took a little while to get used to it.

Simple and fast to use

Pros

It saves me so much time because I don't have to type out information anymore. All I have to do is copy and paste! It's such a simple way to get things done quickly and efficiently.

affordable and efficient but sometimes inaccurate

Pros

VERY easy to use, somewhat accurate and considering the cost, it's a great application. I didn't expect to find something so affordable that works this well. It's definitely been worth every penny.

Cons

It's not always accurate. Sometimes it just refuses to give the correct answers even after sharpening it.

Amazing price and features

Pros

I am really impressed with the price and features. The scanning and editing are top-notch and for what you pay, it's honestly a great deal. I've used a few other options but this one stands out for me.

Cons

some features and functions were not where I expected them in the menus. I guess that's because I was using Adobe Acrobat for almost 20 years and during that time, I was using Abby Screenshot Reader for everything I needed to capture text.

expansive features

Pros

the suite of features it offers is way more expansive than my other PDF-related products. The document management, document conversion, digital signatures and huge range of supported file types made this an easy choice for me. Plus when I started using it, I realized the UI was so interactive and smooth..it made everything so much easier.

Cons

there's not a lot I dislike about it. The only thing that was tricky was setting up the digital signature process to match my workflow. That was the only part that took a bit of digging to get right.

Easy pdf editing but some features are complicated

Pros

Great for editing PDFs and converting images to documents. Whether I'm working with scanned pages or just need to make edits, this software does it all easily. It's been a huge help in keeping my workflow smooth.

Cons

I wish some of the features were easier to use. It can be complicated at times.

effective and smart tool

Pros

Ease of use is definitely a major plus. The product is so easy to use and I'm really happy with how simple andsimple everything is. I don't have to waste time figuring things out and it just works exactly as I need it to.

Cons

awesome for pdf work

Pros

The accuracy, features and ease of use are definitely the top things that stand out to me. Everything works just as expected and I can easily navigate through all the features. It's definitely one of the best tools I've used for working with PDFs.

Cons

i can't select an area to apply "Levels" in the "Edit Image" feature. It would be great if that was possible.

Affordable and efficient

Pros

One of the most cost-effective and easy-to-use products I've come across. It's exceptionally user-friendly and I don't have to spend hours figuring out how to use it. It just makes the whole process so much easier and for the price, you can't beat it.

Cons

I wanted to convert two Word docs to PDF and it did that but it combined them into one file which was not what I expected.

works for pdf editing but lacks flexibility

Pros

The ability to edit PDF documents without needing too much training is one of the best features. I didn't have to go through a long learning curve to get the hang of it. I could start working right away which saved me a ton of time.

Cons

Its not very flexible and that's a bummer. Something like a Find and Replace feature would make editing a lot better.

accurate ocr but conversion to excel could improve

Pros

it turned out to be an incredibly accurate OCR. It recognizes over 190 languages which is impressive and it's a great way to work directly in PDF files. All this comes at a much lower cost than other options and the support team is really quick and helpful. It's perfect for anyone who works with PDFs regularly.

Cons

can't point to anything I dislike. I use most of the features and I am happy with them. The only issue is that the conversion from PDF to Excel is not always 100% accurate.

Customizable but missing RTL support

Pros

thing I really appreciate is the ability to calibrate the OCR and optimize the results. You can change some of the algorithm attributes which helps get even better results. This level of customization really makes a difference in how well the software works for my specific needs.

Cons

It's missing some important features like the ability to adjust reading order settings in the OCR editor (RTL vs. LTR). That would make a big difference.

super convenient and saves time

Pros

Super easy to use and really convenient for my day-to-day operations. It saves me so much time and I can get everything done more efficiently. I don't have to worry about complex processes anymore which is a huge relief.

Cons

I wish I started using it sooner. I have never used this software before but I am glad I gave it a try.

Lacks correction features

Pros

It does a better job than Adobe when it comes to OCR-ing messy archival documents which is really important for my historical research. It's not perfect though.. so don't expect flawless accuracy. But for what it does, it's still one of the better tools out there.

Cons

there's no way to correct OCR mistakes like you can in Adobe Acrobat. that's something I miss.
