Pros

I mainly use this tool to scan books in Korean and turn them into e-books. What I love about it is that it's super easy to use and it has way fewer errors compared to other programs I have tried. Even if there's graffiti or markings in the book, I can easily erase them and edit the text without any issue. It's such a useful tool for eliminating paper books that take up so much space and it helps turn them into digital versions that are way easier to store and read. Honestly it's become an essential part of my workflow for digitizing my books.

Cons

Books published in Korean are often used in other countries but they don't work well in places outside of Korea. For instance there are symbols like bumps, double labels, screens and overlapping that show up in book titles, papers and magazines. It's inconvenient because I often don't notice these things and it's hard to read sometimes.

Pros

one of the best things about this program is its ability to scan and convert image files into documents. It does a really good job of keeping the original formatting intact which is awesome. you don't have to worry about the layout getting messed up and it's perfect for making sure all the details are preserved when converting paper documents into digital ones.

Cons

its the best when it comes to recreating old magazine articles in electronic form. It gets them just like they were when they were first published which is perfect for reposting online.

Pros

the flexibility of this software is what really stands out to me. I can use it for so many different tasks and it adapts to what I need. Plus, the ergonomics of the design make it really comfortable to use for long periods of time. I can't tell you how much easier it makes my job and it's something I can rely on every day.

I've got no complaints...honestly. It's super useful and offers great quality for the price. Couldn't ask for a better deal.

it is one of the easiest and most interactive PDF editors I've ever used. It makes reading and editing PDFs easy and it's also great for converting files between different formats. this PDF editing tool is amazing because it gives me an all-in-one solution for pretty much anything I need to do with PDFs. Whether I want to create new PDFs, edit existing ones or convert files into PDFs.. it does it all. I can also merge multiple PDFs into one or split one big PDF into smaller documents. It's fantastic for compressing PDFs and making them more manageable too. Plus I love how I can sign PDFs digitally, no more printing, signing and scanning. It saves me so much time and money and it's perfect for both work and personal use.

definitely the best for scanning books and documents and generating and editing PDF files. I've tried a few others but none of them compare to how efficient and reliable this one is. The OCR tool does not always work smoothly with all languages. For example, it has trouble recognizing Russian (non-Latin characters). And when texts are in two or three columns, it sometimes merges them and creates jumbled text that makes no sense.

I really miss the OCN Quality for Japanese text and features like the comment function and "Proofing tools" for adding or deleting text in PDFs like what Adobe offers. Those would really make this tool better.

you can't edit files on a Mac with just one subscription. It's annoying since I use both Mac and Windows but I can only edit on one platform.

If you are looking for a great option to digitize historical documents especially with Fraktur OCR, this is definitely the choice for you! I've been using it for some old texts and it works like a charm making the whole process much easier than I expected.

Honestly I think this is the absolute best OCR technology out there right now. It's fast, accurate and incredibly reliable. I've tried a few others but this one has definitely topped the list for me.

this is hands down the best OCR I have come across. I use that feature the most because it's just so reliable. I'd love to see some AI features added to it though. That would make it even more powerful and efficient for me.

PaperPort is still the best PDF editor, in my opinion. I really wish it had its features.
