“Impressive Headless CMS Platform

Pros

Flotiq is really simple to use. We can get started right away using the provided templates to set up a site in just a day with good performance and solid design. I found it to be really convenient and time saving!

Cons

Some improvement can definitely be made to the Rich Text Editor. For instance its tough to change the link of a YouTube video in the content since theres no context menu for the video type. The player shows up once the video is added.

“Excellent CMS option

Pros

I really enjoy how simple it is to create API endpoints and work with them. The platform is super flexible. I can use it for a CMS backend and it also works as a complete backend database solution.

Cons

It is a bit difficult to understand and learn at the start. But its really not that bad compared to other platforms. Since I'm constantly learning along the way, it wasnt exactly plug and play at first. But it is now that I have used it enough.

“Great feature, now need projects

Pros

Its really impressive how it automatically generates an SDK for our models and updates it when we make changes or add new models. Its a great feature. Of course we could use REST API but having the Next.js package made for us is amazing.

Cons

I really want them to add the ability to have multiple projects. Everything gets lumped together in one project right now. Everything ends up mixed if you want to use it for more than one thing. They say its coming but I really hope its sooner rather than later. It would completely change how I use it.

“Decent CMS with professional support

Pros

Its a simple, user friendly headless CMS. The integration with Gatsby works well and the page load speed is amazing once its deployed. Using Flotiq and Gatsby helped us save about thirty percent of dev time compared to using React and CI,CD. Having structured data is very helpful as it makes extending and creating new features so much easier.

Cons

I feel the interface feels a bit old school but theres a new version of the UI on the way this year. Looking forward!.

Pros

Love the API when it comes to Flotiq. Its super easy to use and extremely solid.

Cons

The only thing that I feel is missing is the option to group content types. It would really help in organizing the content more effectively. Its not a big issue though, just a little improvement for whats already an amazing product.
