“Better than many content management platforms
Pros
As a dev, I really enjoy working on Strapi as it is easy to use as compared to other content management platforms. The interface is awesome and various filters provide easy access to old data. Also, the option to create multiple users makes it perfect for big dev teams.
Cons
I did not notice a single con so far while using Strapi.

“Good experience so far as a QA executive
Pros
The interface is very easy to learn. As per my experience with Strapi so far, I like the fact that it gives many options in the filters. One can easily sort data as per requirements.
Cons
It gets stuck at times which impacts our daily workflow

“It's an amazing open-source CMS
Pros
It's very userfriendly and the best part is the plugins. I really love those plugins. Plus, I can even create my own plugin. API customization is another benefit and it's pretty simple. I've been using Strapi since version 3.x.x and I've really liked how it has evolved.
Cons
The review workflow is part of the enterprise plan, which I think should be available in the free plan with some limitations. Completely removing it makes it difficult for open-source users to access this feature at all.

“It is the winner for headless CMS war
Pros
It's the perfect tool for any developer or entrepreneur transitioning from idea to testing. Quick setup and launch. Awesome dashboard offering a great overview of your database and data. Built-in authentication system.
Cons
Customization can be tricky, and the documentation on Services & Controllers needs improvement. While there are many free plugins available from the community, only a few are well-maintained or updated.

“Budget friendly and flexible software solution
Pros
The self-hosted option is amazing, especially for smaller companies or nonprofits. The setup is easy and gets the job done without being complex. Third-party integrations make Strapi highly flexible for different projects. The API is simple to use allowing you to go from setup to a working site in minutes.
Cons
The documentation could be better, especially when it comes to production deployment. It would help to have more common use cases, such as filtering or populating, before diving into more complex examples like relationships. A reference to help with using TypeScript types for things like Rich text (blocks) would be useful, instead of needing to look outside Strapi for solutions. This issue is common across all CMSs but it would be nice if cloud-hosted plans were available for small businesses, non-profits or sites that don't update frequently.

“Saves me so much time
Pros
Easy setup, full API management. It saves so much time compared to a regular Node backend application.
Cons
Strapi's reputation as a "quick and dirty" tool makes it harder to present as a professional solution to clients. Even though it could be highly beneficial, it often requires extra convincing to show that Strapi is corporate-grade material.

“Great for building APIs, not so much for websites
Pros
Strapi, as the name suggests, is an API builder tool designed to manage data consumed by frontends and other apps, and it does this exceptionally well. Strapi offers hooks and cycles to modify incoming and outgoing data, though these must be configured programmatically. The authentication layer and CDN for images are useful too.
Cons
Since Strapi doesn't provide a frontend, it can be difficult to grasp the initial concept and add functionality. Every change in the Admin requires a restart, leading to downtime. Occasionally, the database gets vacuumed while trying to work with endpoints, which can be frustrating. Additionally the nested objects in Strapi's responses can be difficult to navigate when consuming data.

“Great Experience
Pros
I can say that Strapi is an easy-to-use, flexible tool for managing content across websites and apps. It allows developers to organize and update content in a way that works across different platforms without limitations.
Cons
However, one key improvement would be adding an autosave feature, as this could help prevent data loss during content creation or editing.

“Great tool for content creation
Pros
Automatic API endpoint creation based on content types, role-based access control, authentication, querying, and media library features help speed up app development.
Cons
I think some parts of the Strapi documentation are unclear. You may need to search through forums and the internet for solutions that could be easily clarified with a simple addition to the documentation.

“Perfect solution for open source community
Pros
Strapi could easily put their entire software behind a paywall like many others, but instead, they've contributed incredible software to the open-source community. There are plenty of starter projects, tutorials, blog posts and extensive documentation to help get started quickly.
Cons
Currently, Strapi doesn't work with Vercel, which is unfortunate but it shouldn't deter anyone from using it. Hopefully it will be supported in the future.

“Amazing for building landing pages
Pros
I was able to create an API for landing pages in just a few hours. I developed multiple sections for my landing page and could start integrating my front end the very next day. My site has grown ever since and Strapi made it easy to add more sections and evolve over time.
Cons
One downside of Strapi is that it lacks an easy way to update. I use a deployment system, and I wish I could update Strapi directly from the admin panel instead of using the command line and redeploying every time there's an update. Regular updates should be a positive, but with Strapi, it feels complicated. Another issue is the lack of responsiveness in the admin panel.

“It saves me a lot of time
Pros
Previously, I used ExpressJS to create my APIs, which took a lot of time to build and test. With Strapi, I can create any type of API in just 5 to 10 minutes, it's that simple! The role based access control, even in the free plan, is an incredible feature for any business or developer. I love it. Now, as a freelancer, I can build almost any type of web app with ease whether it's a CRM, HRM, hotel management system or anything else.
Cons
I would love to see built-in aggregator functions in Strapi. This would make it easier for developers to create custom services and controllers. Additionally, it would be great to have more options to customize Strapi's branding, such as the ability to update the color scheme, brand name, and login page template.

“I had a great experience using Strapi
Pros
The ease of use and its JavaScript-native functionality.
Cons
One issue is that the server takes too long to restart every time a change is saved. It would be great if the restart process could be much faster.
