“Packed with the best features
Pros
There are so many good things about it but my favourite and key features include seamless integrations, strong governance, flexibility and the ability to work with drafts.
Cons
The interface and filtering options for translation jobs are not very user friendly and I noticed that the event logging lacks detailed information.

“Works as we expected it to be
Pros
We love being able to review content directly in Collective Spaces and track changes and comments from reviewers in Tridion Docs. Plus not having to create a separate publication for the review process saves us a lot of time.
Cons
One thing I noticed is that implementing the DITA standard can be complex, particularly when transitioning from different systems or software platforms

“Ideal for small scale content management
Pros
The system offers a clear overview, is easy to set up and provides excellent support from smooth implementation to quick responses to support tickets.
Cons
It feels stuck in the old publication model. There is still a lot of manual effort needed to trigger translations and I also noticed that the system struggles with large volumes of content.

“Useful Tool, But Compliance Needs Improvement
Pros
The version control and the smooth connection between the desktop tools and the XML editor make it very easy for us to manage everything.
Cons
Well the lack of audit trails and a comprehensive overview of translation status for all languages is a major downside.

“Expensive but great for enterprises
Pros
It is a reliable and stable core system that can be easily configured and customized to suit our needs.
Cons
The cost is very high and the reliance on client tools that need to be installed locally on users machines seems outdated to me.

“Loving the TD15 upgrade
Pros
Tridion software stands out to us for its high quality, bug free performance, fast support and excellent professional services.
Cons
Division into separate products such as Pub Manager, Organize Space, Draft and Review Space, and Taxonomy Space makes it harder to get management or IT to approve purchasing multiple modules and I noticed some competitors provide more integrated solutions.

“Powerful software
Pros
This powerful content management system supports unlimited libraries. The use of Conref and Conditions reduces the need for multiple topics and I like that it offers plenty of customization options.
Cons
The distinction between features in Publication Manager and Organize Space is often unclear, making it challenging to manage effectively

“Quite simple to use
Pros
The user interface is easy to navigate making it simple for us to train new users.
Cons
I feel like the search feature could use some improvement although it seems they have been working on enhancing it for Version 15.

“Does what we expected from it
Pros
Tridion Docs is great for managing structured content like technical documentation or product manuals. It provides a strong and flexible framework for creating, organizing and reusing content, ensuring consistency and accuracy across complex projects. With component based authoring, content can be broken down into reusable pieces that can be easily used in multiple documents. This helps us maintain consistency, improves collaboration and makes updates easier. Also the platform supports publishing across web, print, mobile and other channels. Plus its workflow and collaboration features, like role based access, review cycles and task assignments help teams work smoothly and stay coordinated throughout the content creation and approval process.
Cons
The user interface can be difficult to navigate especially for occasional or non tech users. Some features are hard to find and take time to get used to. Customizing the interface or templates is also limited making it tough to personalize the documentation. Integrating with other tools is complicated too and maintaining those integrations disrupts our workflows and affect data consistency.
