“My Experience with it is good
Pros
Umbraco was the first CMS I worked with and I had a great experience. It is simple to use in every way. Its strengths include being open source, built on .NET and free to use.
Cons
I would like to add the ability to write texts in HTML as well.

“Free, customizable and supportive tool
Pros
I enjoy that it's free to use and customize. Scaling it up is simple, the community support is strong and the management features are really helpful for me.
Cons
The learning curve can be steep, especially for anyone who hasn't used CMS software before. I noticed there's no official support and the lack of drag and drop makes it a bit harder to get started.

“Free and Easy to Customize
Pros
It is free to use and customize which I like the most. Also it is easy to scale, has strong community support and excellent management features.
Cons
Keep in mind that has a steep learning curve especially for those unfamiliar with CMS software. Additionally, I noticed there is no official support and no drag and drop functionality.

“Got hang of it quickly
Pros
In my role, Umbraco made it easy to add event details to the company website. I could categorize events by year and save them easily. Adding event hosts URLs was simple and they showed up on the site. Also, editing or deleting events was just as simple. So depending on your needs, it could be a great choice.
Cons
It would have been helpful to save an event and come back to edit it later without posting it to the website. For example when adding a new host, I could not just save and return to finish the entry. I had to re enter all the details after adding the new host. A suggestion would be to add an option to alphabetize tabs or lists. Other than that everything else worked great.

“Trusted tool
Pros
It performs reliably which is important for a CMS and is also highly flexible. I worked on a project for a large client who wanted to manage content outside of it. Thanks to its flexibility we were able to create a dynamic block and control it from our external application.
Cons
Like most apps of this type it takes some time to get used to the workflow. It is not the most user friendly but I would say it is definitely not the worst either.

“The go-to CMS for me
Pros
I am reviewing this strictly as a content editor and I find this CMS pretty easy to use. There are no licensing fees and after a demo, our clients also find it simple to navigate. It is definitely the development teams preferred choice for coding and whenever we have needed assistance, our CTO has received excellent support from the company.
Cons
To be honest I do not have any complaints about using it.
