studio management done right

Pros

Right from the start they walk you through the entire setup process. They've clearly considered almost every scenario a photographer runs into when managing a studio and built in solutions that save a lot of time. On top of that they provide training that helps you grow and improve your photography business. The analytics are also really useful giving you stats and insights that can help move your business forward. Add in customer support that truly delivers and it ends up being an outstanding company with excellent software.

Cons

This is a very effective platform so it does take a little while to learn everything. Once you get familiar with it though it's great. I honestly wouldn't want to use anything else to manage my photography business.

Win for photographers

Pros

After using other software for several years switching to this turned out to be such a good decision. I had done a lot of research before buying the first CRM for my business and spent a fair amount of money getting everything set up but as a solo business owner I just never had the time to really learn it properly. This cost more but it was so much more user friendly that I felt like I was flying through the setup. At that point I figured it didn't matter if I had already invested money elsewhere if I wasn't actually using it. That really made the choice clear. One of the biggest things I enjoy is how versatile it is and as far as I know it's the only CRM built for photographers that truly offers that. It comes with contracts, invoices, client galleries, album proofing, workflows and honestly it feels like there's even more packed into it. It really does cover a lot.

Cons

There are a few areas where I can see some limitations. For instance I still rely on Shootproof for my school shoots. That said I can also tell they're constantly improving the platform and adding new features. They're even working on scheduling so clients will be able to book sessions, viewings and ordering through an automated calendar system which could remove the need for another paid service like Calendly.

photography-focused tools shine

Pros

Coming from a non sales background this software cuts down on the time CRM takes to get used to. Even the terminology feels more natural for photographers like calling opportunities "Shoots." The gallery tools and workflows are really well done and the online contracts feature has been a total game changer. Overall there are a lot of genuinely useful features packed into it.

Cons

Where it completely falls short is client communication. I still can't understand how a CRM can exist with almost no real communication options beyond automated replies. You can't export contact records by shoot type or date, send mass emails, automate messages based on shoot type or date or even filter contact lists by shoot type. If your goal is to store your data in a system without being able to pull it back out in any practical way then this definitely delivers that experience.

Affordable and good features

Pros

Compared with other photography business platforms this one offers the best mix of affordability and features I've seen. It's impressive how much it handles for the price especially when similar services charge more for less. It's also the only studio manager I've used that actually helps bring in revenue through online gallery sales. Having my galleries, client management, sales and bookkeeping all together in one system is a huge advantage since I don't have to pay for or juggle several separate tools to do what this software already covers on its own.

Cons

There really isn't much to complain about. It covers everything I need and stays affordable which matters most to me. If I had to point out one thing the interface and overall user experience could look a bit nicer and feel a little more user friendly but at this price I'm still very satisfied with it.

organized workflow

Pros

Right away this software gave my business a much more polished and professional appearance. It has also streamlined so many parts of my business and made everything feel more organized.

Cons

I'd still like to see a bit more customization available. It also requires some time to figure out although that tends to be pretty common with most products.
