“Helpful App Store tracking”

Pros

Keeping tabs on our App Store listing has been really useful with this. It gives us a great way to monitor listing progress, respond to user reviews and keep an eye on keyword performance as well as what users are searching for.

Cons

Connecting our Android app was a bit challenging and a few of the filtering options aren't very simple at first.

“Valuable reviews and ASO insights”

Pros

Staying connected with users is a huge part of growing and improving any mobile app and this tool has made that much easier for me. As a mobile app developer, I rely on it a lot for monitoring and replying to app reviews and it has honestly been a game-changer. It also includes really useful ASO tools that let me work with keywords and keep an eye on what competitors are doing. Those features have helped improve my apps' performance and made them more noticeable in a crowded market. On top of that, tracking what people are saying about my apps is very easy. The interface is simple and user-friendly so going through customer feedback feels quick and hassle-free. It gives me a clear view of what users actually think which is incredibly helpful. Overall, it has become my go-to platform for managing reviews and refining my apps even further. If you're another app developer, I'd definitely recommend trying it.

Cons

The demo version feels a bit limited but aside from that, it works reliably and stays stable.

“tough interface!”

Pros

Mobile growth teams already know they need several app intelligence tools and this has been the best option for managing app reviews. That said, there's still room to improve when it comes to the core ASO features and I'd really like to see a more user-friendly design.

Cons

interface is pretty difficult to work with and connecting an app from Google Play for analytics is more complicated than it should be.

“Powerful review tracking dashboard”

Pros

Having all reviews from every store gathered in one place is incredibly useful. Responding to reviews in real time is a big advantage and the custom auto-tags make it simple to monitor trends and spot issues as they happen. The dashboards and reports are also clean, appealing and easy to use.

Cons

Connecting everything to the app stores can be a bit of a hassle though that's probably expected. Still, AppFollow does as much as possible to simplify the process and their support team is very helpful.

“Useful resource for every level”

Pros

Everything is laid out in a way that makes information quick to find on this platform. It works really well whether you're just getting started or already have plenty of experience.

Cons

The monthly price is quite high and that makes it hard for a lot of developers to afford.

“Helpful CRM integrations”

Pros

One thing I really appreciated was the ability to connect with different CRMs. That feature adds a lot of flexibility and makes the software more useful in day-to-day work.

Cons

A downside is that it still isn't available in the Samsung and Huawei app stores which can be limiting for users who rely on those platforms.

“simple dashboards with support”

Pros

Right away, the simple dashboards and useful filters made the platform simple to work with. It's very user-friendly, the support team has been excellent and the pricing feels fair for what you get.

Cons

One limitation is competitor analysis. You have to add competitors manually one by one and there's also a cap on how many you can include.

“Valuable insights in one place”

Pros

It's really helpful having all my metrics gathered in one place. When you can actually track what's happening, it becomes much easier to improve and the insights you get are genuinely useful.

Cons

My only real wish is that the essential plan included more keywords. Aside from that, it's a very useful tool and I'm looking forward to getting even more out of it.

“Clean reports”

Pros

Interface feels polished and simple to navigate. It also makes things really convenient by pulling all of your data into one place and presenting it in clear, simple reports.

Cons

At the same time, this feels like a service your app should probably already handle on its own especially if you're using more powerful tools like Appsee, Mixpanel, Appsflyer or Branch. A lot of the ASO work can also be managed yourself with a bit of know-how.

“ASO reports with Slack alerts”

Pros

We're not in the platform every single day but the daily and weekly ASO reports are really important for us. It only takes a few seconds to choose which reports we want, how often they should be sent and where they need to go. The integrations are another big plus. Connecting it with Slack has been especially useful because we can see incoming reviews in real time and reply to them directly from Slack. Keyword ranking is also one of the core features we rely on. For both our Android and iOS apps, I can check the keywords we rank for and see our position for each one. I can also switch the date range to look at ranking history over time. It's not limited to the US either since we can track this across global app stores too which is really valuable when we're running A/B tests.

Cons

One thing that would be really useful and I'm not sure whether it already exists, is an alert when one of our apps gets featured in the app store. Having that kind of notification would help us prepare for a spike in volume or avoid pushing a new build at the wrong time. The other downside is the keyword limits even on paid plans. We used the Essential plan for a few months and started to notice that the number of keywords included wasn't very generous, only about three times more than the free plan. Because of that limitation, we ended up exploring other keyword tools with higher-volume tracking.

“Centralized review tracking”

Pros

Getting this set up with FreshDesk was very easy. It's the only reasonably priced app I've found that lets us monitor and respond to customer reviews there, instead of juggling separate logins like we used to. We also didn't have side-by-side metrics for iOS and Android before so having both platforms compared in one place has been really valuable.

Cons

Nothing to complain about at this point. I'm really pleased with the interface, how simple it is to use and the level of detail in the information it provides.

“Fast App Store insights”

Pros

Keeping track of multiple apps across different app stores is a big part of my job as a product manager and this has been a huge help with visibility. It sends all the app data and reports straight to my email which saves a lot of time when you're managing four apps. Last year, we also started using the Zendesk Reply to Reviews app with our support team and that made it possible to respond to a lot more user feedback coming in from the stores. It's also been really encouraging to watch our app ratings improve over time.

Cons

I'd still love to see more functionality added to the Zendesk app. They recently introduced auto-tags so I'm hoping that helps us handle even more user reviews going forward.

“All app metrics together”

Pros

Having all the key app metrics collected in a single dashboard has been a big help and the Slack alerts for critical changes are especially useful. It has made my day-to-day routine much simpler since I no longer have to manually pull data together and keep reports updated. I also get notified when competitors make changes to their apps or get featured which lets us react right away and avoid losing users.

Cons

Honestly, I do not have any complaints. It has been a really helpful tool for managing apps.
