“Fake Leads, No Accountability, No Refunds
Pros
The website's uptime record has been good - that's the best I can say.
Cons
1) A high percentage of requests on the platform are fake, and demonstrably so. Just one recent example: A lead from "Dewand Neely" (CIO at MGT) was sent on Tue 12/2/2025 at 6:44 AM. Do you think someone with 19 years of IT experience is going to submit a request on Bark for VOIP? I'm sure he knows where to get it himself. The next "lead" that came through was from “Cody Smith,” a highly dubious request. 2) Bark states that it has "automated systems" that prevent these fake requests, but they obviously aren't advanced enough. There are MANY ways to prevent these types of obviously fake requests (IP rate limiting, browser fingerprinting, request verification, etc.), but why would they want to lose their money-making scheme? 3) I have tried the "guaranteed hired" packs, but I have not gotten hired, and they do nothing about it. I purchased a final credit pack on promotion, and they are refusing to refund it, despite the obvious evidence of fraud. If you are a serious business and don't want to waste your marketing budget, AVOID BARK.COM!

“Loan offer and Credit Fix
Pros
I had a really positive experience securing installment loans online through [XAPCREDITSOLUTION@GMAIL.COM], despite having bad credit. The application process was quick and straightforward, and the loan terms were very fair. I was able to receive both a personal loan and a business loan totaling $109,800, and after repaying them, they even helped improve my credit score to over 780 across the bureaus. I would definitely recommend XAP Credit Solution to all those in need of loan and/or credit repair help, they’re exceptional at what they do!

“Loaded with fake leads- stay away
Pros
There is absolutely nothing to like. They prey on small businesses and have unethical charging practices, including fake discounts.
Cons
Fake leads that are deliberately manufactured to waste your time and money. Don't buy or waste your time ..stay far away and you'll thank me later!

“could improve a little
Pros
There is an exceptionally large number of projects to bid on, which seems great, but there are so many that it's hard to find well vetted, qualified leads.
Cons
They flood you with potential leads during the trial phase but the actual quality leaves a lot to be desired.

“Taking advantage of small businesses
Pros
Are you serious? There's almost nothing to like. It's apparently a great place to work but the staff need to realize they're profiting off small businesses that are just getting scammed. If you work for this company, you are part of the problem. There is NOTHING to like.
Cons
The whole system is designed to make Bark.com money, which isn't necessarily bad but the amount of wasteful information becomes so pointless. The questions they ask are basic and they lack critical details like the budget. Most leads end up being a waste. I can count only two successful leads out of hundreds. Other alternatives are more reasonable. The platform's ads misrepresent service costs too.

“Money down the drain
Pros
There is actually nothing. I thought this platform would help me acquire clients looking for life coaches but nothing happened.
Cons
Where should I even start? The leads I received didn't seem real. It's baffling that so many people seeking life coaching don't respond to inquiries. It makes no sense. I joined Bark and got an email offering a discounted rate of $90 so I thought "Why not? Well that ended up being a waste of $90 and about 10 credits that didn't help anyone requesting services. What's strange is that some people were asking for more credits like 17 instead of 10. Who would take that seriously? Bark kept pushing me to spend more money on these questionable leads and I have no idea where those emails go. Naturally when I asked for a refund, they refused citing their no refund policy, despite offering a guarantee to refund if no clients were gained. After spending the $90 I realized I didn't do enough research. I'm now planning to dispute the charge through my credit card company. Once I get my money back I'll delete my account which by the way, I can't even do easily. There's no reason to keep my profile on a platform where no one is truly seeking help. It reminds me of a similar site (initials AM) that no longer exists. It's disappointing when a good idea turns into a scam, and the people running it decide it's easier to rip people off than to run a legitimate business. I strongly urge anyone considering Bark to do their research before spending money. They're hiding reviews from fake sites to create an illusion of credibility. If you're a business owner, avoid Bark at all costs. Save your money and consider other advertising avenues , though they may be pricier, they are likely more effective. Best of luck!

“Their Starter Pack credits have hidden conditions
Pros
There's nothing at all. After four months of trying to book business from their leads, I received zero business. Only 2 out of over 20 people even responded to my emails or calls.
Cons
Customer service didn't honor their starter pack credits because I used the wrong payment method. No one answers calls or emails regarding the leads and it feels like they're not real. I spent almost $400 with zero bookings before I realized it wasn't worth my time or money. Their response? Spend more money. I won't be recommending them to anyone.

“Stay far from Bark.com, it's a scam
Pros
Absolutely NOTHING!!!! This is a scam website. I wish I'd seen these reviews before I bought credits.
Cons
I signed up for Bark.com with the hope of connecting with clients who were actively looking for my services. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a total waste of time and money. After buying 18 leads, this is what happened: One person booked a call, only to cancel within 24 hours, claiming they would "found someone else", way too fast to be believable. Two others replied but had already "found someone." Out of the remaining leads, 15 were completely unresponsive. One email even bounced back as undeliverable ..so why is Bark charging for leads that haven't even been verified? Bark doesn't ask businesses for valid contact info like company emails or websites, which makes it impossible to verify these leads before buying them. Why should I pay premium prices for leads that may not even be real? It's starting to feel like Bark is creating fake leads to keep people spending money. With their lack of transparency, high prices and near zero return on investment, it feels like a scam. I've still got a few credits left but once they're gone, I'm done. If you value your time and money, stay far away from Bark.com.

“Unqualified and fake leads
Pros
It's easy to use but that doesn't mean much.
Cons
We purchased 24 leads and only one turned into a job and it was low revenue. Most leads are dead ends and Bark makes it difficult to report bad leads. The answering system even has a built-in option for reporting them because it's so common. Overall it's been a poor experience, and I'm planning to leave a negative review.

“Fraudulent leads and unfair competition
Pros
I got one huge lead back in 2019..
Cons
Many leads were fraudulent! people either didn't exist or were looking for a job instead of hiring someone. I found that many other "pros" using the platform were also fraudulent, with no licenses or insurance. Bark refuses to accept recorded phone calls as proof and demands additional evidence.

“Full-blown scam
Pros
We did get 3 clients from Bark but most of the leads are manufactured.
Cons
Most of the leads are manufactured. Interestingly, when credits run out, the number of available leads increases, making you think you're missing out on opportunities. It's a scam. The leads aren't real and the pricing model is unethical. I set my account to avoid purchasing credits without authorization, but they ignored it and charged me anyway.

“Paid thousands for fraudulent leads
Pros
There's nothing. They give fake leads, refuse to issue refunds and it's all a scam.
Cons
Everything about this sucks. They get you to buy fake lead credits and then try to upsell you to their fake programs. It's frustrating especially since I have an 87% close rate but no one responds because the leads aren't real. I once called a lead that specifically asked for me to contact them, only to find out it was a phone number for the Texas employment department.

“Never use Bark.com
Pros
Bark.com is an absolute scam! They post fake leads!
Cons
DO NOT USE BARK.COM!!! SCAM ALERT! It is a scam! They post fake leads and even when I reply within minutes, I get zero responses. Their customer service is awful, making you wait 20 minutes to restore credits for bogus leads. They refused to refund my money, claiming I got the service I paid for, which is a lie. Avoid Bark.com at all costs!

“A major rip-off
Pros
There's nothing to like. They sell lies, take your money, and don't follow through.
Cons
They guarantee you will get clients for a fee but it's all lies. They take your money, give you leads you can't reach and then refuse to assist. If you call, they don't have any answers and if you ask for help, they send you an automated message.

“This is a FRAUD
Pros
There is absolutely nothing I like about this company.
Cons
This company is full of lies and deceit. They claim each lead is only sold to five companies but when you finally get through to a lead, they have already been bombarded with calls from other companies. The system shows you as the first to buy the lead but when you speak to the person, they say they have already received countless calls. When I told Bark about this, they claimed the lead must have been mistaken.
